My answer is A. Go in get a feel for who lived there and see who they were. Figure out the history behind. Never would my answer be C you don't take what don't belong to you. Who knows if deceased if they are attached to the object you take.

I am definitely of the "A" mindset - leave it for all to enjoy, a bit like a time capsule. However, if it's been looted, severely vandalized, or about to be demolished, then I think "C" would have to apply. I have been able to save some very interesting artifacts from abandoned sites that had been tossed to the side as junk by looters.
@corneliusnubston4 жыл бұрын
im in agreement if it was starting to look trashed id maybe instead of taking the items id maybe contact the local goverment instead of doing c and see if i could take owners ship of the build and secure it and try to restore it to its former self

I completely agree the answer should be "A" and I respect you for living by that rule, but to be completely honest, for me it would be "C" because i see a value in everything and hate to see stuff go to waste, especially cars! But i wouldn't steal the stuff, i'd find a way to acquire it legally.

A - just because your curiosity will eventually overcome the gut instinct to run away. And the things you find when the place is intact (like this) can be really interesting - although, not as interesting as the fact that stuff was just left everywhere. Someone's belongings that they valued. Old mines and ghost towns are like this too sometimes like people from 100 years ago were just there.

I actually think, if it was an item that was maybe small or slightly different I think, (with the greatest of respect) I would preserve it, perhaps in my own home. But never for monetary gain, just as a reminder of two things, firstly to remind me of the place I explored and the time there and two, because I think In an afterlife, our souls don’t have any feelings for possessions or objects, lol. And I know for 100% certainty, that if I passed on, And I was a ghost, I would be screaming at explorers to take items and show them off to their friends family and explain where it came from to keep the memory of the object and it’s former owners alive, that is exactly what I would want if I had passed on. Always with total respect, not to benefit for the sake of it, but just to keep the memory of the object alive in its new life with a new human keeper. :-) great video man, I’m jealous!.

Maybe the owners went into witness protection. Some are told to just get essentials then leave. It can happen very fast. Some dont even get chance to return home for essentials. Depends on each case. If they are informants/grasses with high potential to be taken out they get moved very quickly. Anyhow, pretty cool house. Id choose A.

@Elentarien4 жыл бұрын
To answer your question - probably B. Leave it entirely alone. (or was that C? hah!) If only because I've been in places like that and it makes me feel a bit sick. I mean, literally, physically sick. I'm not sure why. Even watching these makes me feel vaguely nauseated and I can't even smell/feel things. (I have NO idea why. I agree, it's strange!) I like watching it this way because I'm well away from it while still getting to 'explore'. I do like exploring less. . .contaminated places. I also know exactly what you mean about the 'feel' of the places. I've felt it before, can kind of feel it through the videos and its hard to shake off. I do have a bit of an issue with just leaving the abandoned stuff there. It seems like such a MASSIVE waste of goods that could (or, could have been - if they'd been saved/dealt with earlier. A lot of it's too far gone to save by the time you document it.) donated/sold to those who could use them. But at the same time - you can't just be taking stuff that doesn't belong to you, either. SOMEONE still owns the stuff - even if they aren't taking care of it. So, yeah, bit of a conundrum there.
@jljjamieleighjones4 жыл бұрын
please do research after you explore somewhere and update us hate not knowing but love your videos lol
