After I got the chance to play sparking zero there was a lot of information I learned but couldnt share among the super moves and battles between Gogeta blue, DBS Broly, Beerus, Dbs trunks and so much more! The tenkaichi games have always been more of a for fun kind of series, and even though competition is a good thing, I like playing the characters I enjoy whether theyre hilariously broken or total garbage. Some days I wanna play Ssj4 Goku and some days I want to play as Salza or a Cell Jr.

At 5:54 Doto, the "Super Perception" mechanic they explained in the gameplay trailer a few months back works for both beams / energy attacks AND physical attacks. So basically if Mr. Satan shot a beam at Vegeta he would've deflected it, it works the same way if you physically attack someone in Super Perception, you get this counter-hitting cutscene.

The attention to details with the maps are insane, I just realized in the 18 Vs Vegeta footage on the Future Ruins map when she does her ultimate that they’re actually in the courtyard where Goku Black first turned SSR. The fact that you can go from fighting there to basically the area where Vegito and Zamasu and also where Future Gohan died is amazing and shows how large the maps are

Lavendar and Basil can still definitely be in the game. Characters in the roster showing up in team attacks isn't unheard of for this series. (i.e Goten showing up in Bro's Kamehameha with Gohan / Jeice and Burter showing up in eachother's ults)

11:05 "Unfortunate that the game is going to be unbalanced." I personally think it's a good thing. Makes victories when it's obviously not in your favor be so much sweeter when it happens. It also allows them focus more on visuals and personality on individual characters rather than balance. Example is Hercule. (I feel like why he wasn't in fighters as a fan favorite because he'd be impossible to make with system mechanics.) And imagine winning with Yamcha when it's obvious you are supposed to lose to DBS character. It'd be nightmare enough with 160+ chars to balance when obviously certain chars have so much in their arsenal compared to the others. It can easily become homogeneous which is a flaw of the Tenkaichi series with the lesser impact characters. They just throw a Volley Blast or a Super Explosive Wave. I'm looking forward to the chaos, and great video Doto!

I’m really hopeful for Lavender and Basil just cause ults with other characters included doesn’t always mean they aren’t in the game. Plus Basil goes from his base to his powered up form. I feel they wouldn’t add that if they didn’t have them in as playable. They had some key fights in the super arc at that. And I feel Giant Bergamo would be a good addition for giant characters to differ against JUST great apes.

I definitely strayed away from them, never got much into Xenoverse or FighterZ, but I'll most likely be pre-ordering this which is a first for me with any game in probably years. I get what you're saying, but you can fight on the ground if you choose to. The battles just tend to escalate into the sky, but I'm pretty sure that they're not going to add a mode like the one in kakarot since they're trying to stay faithful to tenkaichi. It could still be possible if they add the no-fly rule from the TOP on the TOP stage

I think the other 2 wolves can be their own characters. In old games Goten's ult was Family Kamehameha, but Goku and Gohan are their own characters. Same goes for characters like 17 and 18. They commonly team up in ults/supers, but they are separate characters.

One more thing I think they need to do. When a blast ultimate misses or ultimates in general on stages that don’t have stage destruction. They need to leave some type of crater or something to show that the ultimate was used. Like how in ultimate tenkaichi any supers would leave their mark permanently on the stage.

We already know that Super Hero will be DLC. There's no way Orange Piccolo and Beast Gohan will be in the base game.
