It was a solid implementation of The Worf Effect. It also signified that characters can and will be killed off. But then they sidelined Cinder for Salem and the relics plotline - which still hasnt even been explained btw lol. We know Salem and company want them, but not why. Pyrrha's death was set up well, imo. But then they fumbled the perfect pass to season 4 and onward by completely changing the direction of the show.
