4:21 Point of law: In all 50 of these United States, it is illegal to pass/overtake a vehicle by crossing a solid double yellow line. These lines are painted to indicate that you will never have good enough visibility to properly judge if oncoming traffic is far enough away to successfully overtake. Such as on hills or blind curves.

Technically the truth, however there’s no way those roads should ever be double lined… straight flat farm roads would be dotted lined for sure.

I had family who owned a large farm in Kansas. It’s really flat there too. They had a rail crossing their driveway and the county road three times. I can’t imagine how many bar crossings they would have to install if they did them at every crossing. Yes they did have proper signage with the warning of the crossing at every crossing but only drop bars in the town proper. I can imagine that Texas would have a similar plan. Idk how flat Texas is because I never been there.. but I can imagine the field size there would be enormous.
@SuperDriver379
@SuperDriver379 Жыл бұрын
Field size depends on the area, I live about 100 miles south of this area of Texas and our land plots are around 60-80 acres but almost exclusively forestry. With cattle being the silver medal. And our rual rail crossings have signs and lines on the pavement, where it is paved but no flashing lights or drop bars.

Great vid as always mate. Yeah fairly sure we have the 2nd largest farms and fields down under. Anne Creek Station is 9142 square miles. China wins out I think they have a 11000 square mile farm. That's what great about Aus farming we have farms as small as a half acre all the way up to the size of Israel and everything in-between. I farm peanuts,corn and beef cattle we only have 12000acres in Queensland

I’m in east Texas and we have a few pine plantations that are around 4,000-5,000 acres but there aren’t many most the land 100 miles south of what this map was loosely based on is in 60-80 acre plots. I live on 168 acres and that’s considered in the mid range for land ownership.

@darkshine5
@darkshine5 Жыл бұрын
@@baileym2828 wow I always thought we were about the average farm size between Queensland and the big farm in the states. Many of those 12000 can only be used for grazing cattle. The farm works out to be 10000acres of scrub brush/grasslands and 2000 acres of crops which we switch out between peanuts, corn and Lucerne. The corn and Lucerne goes to a cattle feedlot or we let our cattle in on the Lucerne crops depending on the dryness of the grazing lands. Most farms where I am are between 500-25000 acres alot of land is not actually farmed because it's too dense of scrub so a farmer may own 20000 acres but none of that is suitable for crops only livestock. Alot of places still have to use horses because the terrain is too intense for dirt bikes or utes. Anyway mate have a great day

I live in the Canadian prairies and it looks a lot like this Texas map does. The equipment we use a little bit different. Instead of using a semi we would normally use a dedicated grain truck. Everything is broken up into square blocks that are 80 acres. In the late 1800s, immigrants were offered a free plot. Over time, larger farming operations have bought up the individual plots, so now small groups of owners will own most of the fields around each town. They employ farm hands to work the land for them.

I have a suggestion, since you used the Claas combines in the last series, maybe you should use a Yellow and Black Claas Lexion before the series ends. I think it would fit the farm fairly well with the rest of the equipment on the farm as well. Along with that (if you do use it for next harvest,) I recommend using the headers that come with the Collosus so that you can color match the headers with the combine so you don't have to use random headers that don't match the combine colors

So having been playing this map many times over if you don't want to deal with Bags you can get a placeable mod called the multifruit buying station. The tanks on the farm for fertilizer and lime are empty there is a trigger to buy what you need to fill them up. (You don't see it with your triggers turned off) also I d9 believe under containers in the construction menu that there is one you can place for seed. I recommend selling the Bins as you need to the belts you get as a new farmer to unload your harvest into the Bins. If you want answers to any questions @daggerwin feel free to ask away.
