It's really sad watching this game fall on a timeline, even in real time. It makes me sad watching stuff like this happen, especially a game I've played for 5 years now.

It's sad that we have to see Greenville starting to fall, but there's still hope. I saw many brands being added back this winter (but still no cars found), so I think the developers may be planning to create adapted models of these brands and add them back, just like what they did with the limited Ford truck or Subaru Forester. Also, there are still real brands left, like Nissan, Infiniti, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Ford, Porsche, Subaru, etc.

This year was a mix of good and bad for Greenville, the good being the new weather system, new buildings/remodelled buildings, the ability to customize your car's suspension, and the ability to interact with the lights and fans in houses. The bad is all the car removals and the brands that went offsale because of the triggered DE community who had a severe lack of braincells when they emailed the car companies over a crate they weren't forced to buy in the first place.

don't blame in all on DE players because it wasn't entirely their fault but they did help. Car brands start to notice stuff like this especially after their marketing teams see other brands taking stuff down like this. Some brands don't care at all if their models are used in games like ford who is very lenient and will most likely keep the models in game, unlike Lamborghini who doesnt like games using their models.

Just cause one person emailed these major billion dollar car companies doesnt mean the entirety of the players did it. and beleive me these companies could care less about a 9 year old emailing them about their favorite game and how they are using their models. These companies kinda throw that on their "do - later list" and have their legal team take care of it. I'm sure they could have helped but it definetely wasn't close to being their complete fault

@@ryguymcbloxxer I have to say this again, the players EMAILED these companies which is why these removals were happening, but it's also the car companies' fault because THEY can't accept FREE ADVERTISING (their cars being featured in the game, then people drive said cars and evantually then get the desire to actually want to own the car in reality) The players and the car companies both are at fault for this, yeah I get legal teams play a role into but at the same time it's so dumb because these games didn't make the cars to spite the car companies, the developers simply put the cars in the game because they love the cars, plus the car brands basically make themselves look bad when they force the games to remove their cars regardless if the game has or has no permission to use these cars.

I started playing GV in August 2023. Maybe if Ultimate Driving, my former go-to car driving game collapsed earlier like in 2022 than 2023 I would’ve experienced a more fun experience of playing Greenville. Sad, isn’t it?

also (not so) fun fact the 1987 Chevy Monte Carlo is the last GM car you could ever purchase. Due to the devs forgetting to remove it when GM was removed (it only stayed for a few hours until the devs caught there mistake)

This was so cool to see but so sad to see companies go. Audi BMW bently RR GM Group and all of the others makes gv not feel the same again but one good thing is that we can get fictional cars with widebody kits which the Ferrar- I mean Marralello has shown a good example. 2024 will be a good year. Maybe the cars turn back?
