I had the same problem about four years ago. I asked God that, if he were real, to help me believe in him. Then I never really thought about it again and two years later I.. changed, I believed, I wanted a more personal relationship with Christ. It was a changing experience. It is always hard to know, and easy to doubt, and it sucks to think about because deep down you know the truth.. and the truth is not easy to swallow. Be strong my friend.

At times we think we have to do so much in order to be right and get weighed down by anxiety, guilt, and shame. But if we rest in His love for us, we'll be changed by His love for us.

I like this song because as Christians we often focus on verses such as "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" but forget the harder sides such as "Deny yourself and pick up your cross and follow me daily" this song encompasses all the good times and hard times people experience in their walk with Christ

In my 39 yrs as a Christian, I've known a few prodigals (I was one) but I have never known of a spirit filled 'born again' christian who walks in the power of God, turn their back on him and proclaim it (or go to another so called god) - but it does say in the bible that satan will deceive even the elect

yes, it is personal, Jesus wants christians to preach in various ways (not to judge) some times to challenge people, which is sometimes misinterpreted as judging - i personally believe that, yes, maybe a christian does'nt have to go to church in the traditional sense, but i would always need to meet with people who are filled with God/Jesus

@777i2i interesting we spend alot of time in church waiting on God pleading with God and if we would stop to listen we will hear He is saying to all of us Go out Go carry the Great Commision go into all the world preach the gospel and make disciples of all men baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Sprit.
