Today, REHOO is going to go over Everything To Do Before You Reach Level 40 In Zenless Zone Zero. This is a huge hurdle that many players will face as time goes by in ZZZ. I want to give you all the tips and objectives in this guide, you want to have done before you hit world level 40 or interknot level 40. This will make sure you are at a good standing with your account so that you are not stopped in progress as soon as you hit level 40 as it is an intensive resource drought.

levelling up the disc drives does provide a fairly larger bonus. the only issue is that the materials for that aren't as freely handed put as the agent level mats or the w engine level mats. so you'd have to grind for those specifically. (which kinda sucks cuz you already have to spend time grinding for the level cap upgrade mats) edit: i just learned that you can craft certification seals by using lower grade ones, i found it by clicking on the seal when prompted to see the options for aquiring, then i crafted them. since i have over a hundred of the lower seals, i can dedicate battery towards levelling materials now!

You didn't mention going through Hard mode before the difficulty ramps up! You leave a lot of free level up resources and polychrome on the table, and since Hard mode scales once you get to 40, it'll be significantly tougher/more time consuming/more demanding of all of your characters higher level to clear. For F2P or BP fishies, Hard mode is something to do that gives good rewards after your dailies once you hit the big slow down wall at ~33

​@@sitosamin It's only when you're pulling on the exclusive channel, or W-Engine banner that your S rank will be a unit or a W-Engine respectively. Meaning that if you're a F2P, stockpiling your Encrypted Master Tapes until you can get that guarantee is a much better idea than spending them randomly. The only problem is how rough it'll be to stockpile 100 of those as a F2P. Or you can save up 16000 polychrome, and do it that way.

Pulls are absolutely not hard to come by. I already have 115 pulls worth of encrypted master tapes, and Mihoyo games are good about giving you nearly a 90 pulls worth per patch cycle

For your Anby, I would raise her Chain Attack to around 5 at least (3 is a bit low). As the name suggests, that affects her chain attack damage, not just her ultimate.

I wouldn't spend stamina on Cleanup missions, but I do think it's worth going for some specific disc drives to at least make sure your 6 characters have 4+2 sets to get the set bonuses. Specifically, I recommend leveling up Impact disc drives, as it will help your stun characters by a ton in terms of how long it takes you to stun enemies. Faster stun = more damage = less damage you have to dodge. The other thing worth fishing for is Anomaly Proficiency and Mastery, on Anonaly characters like Grace and Piper. Since so much of their damage is from Anomaly, their other stats and skill levels dont actually matter as much. Every character can leave disc 1 and 3 unleveled.

I'm in the exact same situation as you, (Neko only S rank, running Anby and Nicole as team members) and the only tip I can give you as someone who has the same problem is to "future proof" the battery usage, in other words, farm for materials that you don't have in excess. For example, I fight each simulation boss once every so often, because who knows if in the future those materials end up being necesary to level up a future character. Is it a perfect plan? No. Is it a waste of time/battery? I don't know. But at least I'm not letting my battery reach the cap.

That is actually pretty rough. If you haven’t gotten your second five star from the standard banner, make sure to do that, as you could get another character. Otherwise, my advice would vary depending on how much you care for shiyu defence. If you wanna clear before reset, build Billy/corin, Ben and soukaku. The team is very sub optimal because you don’t get additional abilities but it should be enough to get you by if your 1st team is strong enough. Alternatively you could either replace Ben with the other physical dps if you think the additional ability is worth it, or do 10-20 pulls on Ellen’s banner to see if you get Anton, who you could then pair with Ben and soukaku for a better team. However, in the event you don’t care for shinyu defence, I’d focus on pre farming for zhu yuan. You already know you need attack seals, ether skills, so I don’t see the problem with pre farming. At the same time, focus on getting mats to push your 1st team’s potential to the max when you reach level 40. As was said in the video, Anby and Nicole will be zhu yuan’s best teammates currently available. I hope this helps.

yeah, after the zhu yuan trial, I was confused about why people were saying to skip on her banner other than as a f2p... her attack is insane, and she has a really busted, first of its kind, core ability that activates with a single support unit on the team instead of the usual 2 link faction or type. (ironically, the trial sticks you with the lame ether boo aswell so they legit want you to use the only other ether character In the game, which completely takes away the point of her core passive 😭) I found it all hilarious in the moment.

You can absolutely finish the battle pass easily before it resets without ever paying attention to the daily or weekly quests. You will naturally complete enough of them just by playing the game every (or even just most) days and claiming whatever you happen to finish

I found myself in a kind of dilemma where I want to save up my Polychrome for future banners but at the same time I'm not really fulfilled with the current team I'm playing. It's always a struggle to level-up a character burning ressources although you know that you'll throw away that character as soon as a better one is available. For reference I'm currently level 33 and only have one stunner which is Anby and the only reliable DPS I have is Nekomata which is really a shame because I actually want to save for Qingyi in the future making a high level Anby obsolete and there are way better choices in the current agent roster but I'm just unlucky with my pulls. Ofc it would be an idea to reroll account then but I've already spend a lot of time doing small stuff so it feels not being worth starting all over.

I will say that, while you have a core 3, i would suggest that if you pulled Ellen, she is in that Core 3, but I have about 6 characters I give a lot of focus to. My core 3 is Ellen, Soukaku, and Corin, a lot of the content recommends Ice more than anything. If you have Koleda, the game gives you Ben for free and her moveset not only changes, it expands with him on your team. Fire is the second highest recommended element in the game, your Core 3 should be based around Ellen or Koleda currently. I have both so I kind of keep track between those two teams the most.

I'd recommend actually picking 6 core characters. Obviously start with 3 characters as a main team, but to push Shiyu Defense effectively you are gonna need 2 teams and that means 6 units. I wouldn't advise going past that with the increase in upgrade costs, but that should be the first goal for players in my opinion if they want to clear endgame content

See unlike most genshin and honkai players I’ve been playing shit like monster hunter and warframe for years I’m used to farming stuff. So here’s a tip do whatever you want in the game save polychrome and master tape in case there’s a good banner and when you run out of stamina just go outside and get some fresh air or hell just put the game down for a couple hours it will all be there when you come back or you could use your batteries but don’t get greedy drink coffee in game it gives about 60 . Don’t get stressed it’s a lot to take in and can push some players away just enjoy the game your way thanks for reading of you did side note you can do anything while you wait those were just on the top of my head 😅

1:44 it's pretty hard to not get the first 5 star. I found 2 times Grace 1 from standard banner and 1 from the ellen banner and its my only 5 star... i am a free to play soo yes it is actually hard to be this unlucky... (sorry for bad english)

So... is it reasonable to skip Hollow Zero and Shiyu Defense until Inter-Knot lv 40? I started wasting resources for many Agent just because i was thinking too much about elemental advantage for each nodes.
