Just watched two of your videos. You give me hope for the younger generation. You appear to be in your early 20s. I'm older and I worry about the younger generation having the same opportunities we did in this country. But I see through van lifers and gals like you that you are smart, motivated, creative, and resourceful. You have learned through your own energy to go back to the basics and be very happy. Many kudos to you both! You will always love this place because you created it with your own hands. Enjoy it for as long as you both choose to be there.

At 71 yo I live in my 'work in progress' 12 x 24 shed conversion tiny house. I bought it in 2020 and live on family property near my daughter and her family circus. I, too, must go back and look at videos and pictures to remind myself just how much has been done. Y'all are terrific and inspirational. Thank you for sharing.

BRILLIANT! I've lived on my acres for 7.5 weeks now. It's been an interesting transition from a house with running water and electric. I'm 16 months behind you guys but I don't have as many trees as much as I'd love to mill my own wood It's gonna not happen any time soon. What a beautiful place you have there. I hope I can catch up lol

I’m sure it can be difficult with your harsh winters, but you make it all look so easy. Making your dreams come true, is, I’m sure, is not easy, but you two are doing extremely well! Thank you so much for your kind words. We are fortunate to not have harsh winters. We live in the south on a tiny mountain and get one good snow a year maybe.

Awesome job Ladies. I am proud of you. I am in a shed to homestead also, Guys at work and family think I could get all done in a day. It very much is a work in progress, all by my lonesome, there are a million and one projects to do. On my land, since there is power lines, I had bought the boxes, wiring and supplies to make a 30A RV connection. The reason is, for some grid power to use air tools and such to build my homestead, establish my full solar system. Then later go off grid. but having a rv connection for visiting family, or build an AIRBNB to perhaps have some extra income for my homestead chores

What a great video summary of all you have accomplished! I LOVE how the kitchen turned out! Love the pantry- it’s so beautiful and the island! 😍😍 I was shocked to see how many seedlings you were able to have there!! My second favorite part is the garden, wow!!! I can’t wait to see it all in bloom but even now you can see how gorgeous it will be. The arbor, the rose garden with the bird bath- it will be so nice to relax there on a summer evening! I also love the patio with the table and stock tank pool. The bathroom turned out beautifully- all those hostas already grew so much! I am just amazed how you were able to make such a beautiful, inviting and functional homestead. It is just getting better and better each month ❤

You two have accomplished SO much! I have a feeling I will be a LOT slower than you. I think I need to clone myself as there is only one of me. Having a second person would be lovely except that I am such a hermit and don't play well with others. But only if I have to LIVE with them. I am normal in other ways. WELL done ladies!

The floor is decking wood and it has gaps in between the boards that allow the water to fall through.
