I would like to point out that the MP9 being called the TMP in earlier games is not incorrect. The design and tooling of the MP9 has floated around to several companies over the years, and while it's currently being produced by Brugger & Thomet as the MP9, it was previously produced by Steyr as the TMP.

Though there is clear differences like the stock, safety and sight rail are the distinguishing features of the MP9. The previous games incorrectly named it as the TMP. It's like naming the AK-74 an AK-47. Fundamentally the same fire-arm but differing features distinguish them.

Technically you can load 7 rounds into an 1887, but not the way it's loaded in MW3. 5 in the magazine, 1 on the feed ramp and 1 in the chamber.

The MP9's top rail seems to be attached via a Soviet AK style of dovetail mount on the left side of the gun (You can see the locking latch if you look closely.) The Scorpion's top rail is also attached via a Soviet style of dovetail mount despite this not being an option for the real Scorpion. That dovetail rail is also missing the locking latch.

The mp5 really isn't supposed to be loaded like that, it can make inserting the magazine much harder because you have to push the bullet on top into the bolt, making it much more likely to have a malfunction due to the magazine not being locked into place

Sound design is the worst part. Why do the firearms in the original MW trilogy sound so wonky? The firing sound effects are distorted and loud, which I reckon is intended to make them feel more powerful, but it makes them sound like full-auto sewing machines and 12-gauge cardboard boxes.

The HK USP in the game is not actually the USP Tactical, the USP Tactical would have a threaded barrel, suppressor height sights and an optic cut. The one in the game is a standard USP.

It actually is, there's an extended barrel albeit with the incorrect sights. It's even labeled as "USP Tactical" on it's slide. On the mission "Mind the Gap" it's called as "USP .45 Tactical Suppressed"

The MP412 never got passed the prototype stage. It's prototypes was shown in gun shows but due to the import bans, caused it to stop further development.

This was the last Call of Duty I played. It stopped being fun and was getting repetitive. The only reason I got it was because my friends wanted me to and I wanted to see the end of the MW story. The whole game was a snoozefest and even William Fichnter playing “Sandman” didn’t really help (he played Delta Sergeant Sanderson in Blackhawk Down). The impression I was left with was that they wanted to mount up the biggest body count for the sake of doing so. Also killing pretty much every protagonist up to that point. The ending was the final nail in the coffin, as it ended on a cliche qte sequence.

Actually no, in the SPAS 12 model, you could see the Carrier not reaching the palm. At most, reaching his wrist. Not to mention that they acknowledge this animation mistake in Remaster of MW2. They wouldn't change the animation so significantly if it weren't a mistake.

the 1887 is correctly being reloaded. the first part of the reload is inserting a shell into the barrel and the rest of the reload is correctly into the mag tube. There is a minor delay between the first two shells
