Just come across this video. That’s my old car. I sold it to the previous owner. I bought it for $12k 8 years ago with 180km on the clock. All highway kms while I had it. Was all original untouched. The interior was factory option in the darker color hood lining.

You're not wrong about the sloppy shifts with T5's and T56's. I put a GM Ripshift into my VS 5 litre T5 years ago and still like it. I feel my mates gear shift in his VZ 6.0 T56 and I hate it! They have one of the worst shift feel for a factory manual box.

Yeah it’s amazing how bad they feel from factory, even newer boxes don’t feel as stout as the aftermarket replacement shifters

Same with the VE s1 t56's they feel pretty shitty compared to the s2 tr6060's and even the 90's t5's but it's a shorter throw than the previous commo's so theres no slop

Mate with them KS that's nothing LS1's can do lot more my mates has 475000 in he's series 1 and goes hard as it did couple hundred thousand ago, he consistently tells me lol. Nice ride and top deal.

Man cost of cars is stupid since Covid I saw a GQ patrol stock for 100k and bloke was serious lol. 7 k for this is a bargain mate manuals are so hard to find nowadays been on the hunt myself

My old boss at Wallan garage Leo use to remind me back in the day to make sure those covers go on as it was common that the heat from extractors will damage the starter solenoid.

I have a 20126 sv6 black edition vf commodore and it’s gone on me front seal gone in transmission I don’t know much but been told may need new transmission car has never been thrashed it’s auto anyone know how to fix it or who wants to buy it

I have a VY calais LS1 don’t buy one if you hate fuel consumption if that’s your issue in saying that it depends how you drive these , they are efficient if you drive like an old man but that’s boring , for towing capacity they are excellent … if you are looking to Tow you want an Auto ; mines Auto primarily because for towing … they are an expensive car with what you start buying for them but an excellent car , most people selling these they need work especially with shocks and struts … you want to upgrade everything with shocks , stay stock though , original cars hold the value more … I bought my Calais for $6500 about 5 years ago with 190,000 klms I could sell mine now with about 235,000 klms for around $15,000-$20,000 I have “HOLDEN8” down here in SA as my plates
