4k for the rsx is a steal. think abt it. krpo is 1k. u got kpro and a k24. gearbox that allegedly has all the gears mint. bolt ons. yea. the car rough but it's still a decent come up. good shit.

monetary wise even if the car was completely cooked, 4k is solid cause you can pull a LOT of parts off of it considering its a type s, make sure the motors good then button up all the other reg maintenance like fluids and what not k24 w a type s pump thats ALMOST ready to rip for 4 g’s😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

I would do a compression check on the engine and borescope the the cylinders. Make sure it worth the money. How many miles are on the engine? Good luck with it! Have fun with it. I have a 2JZ Supra that make 800whp and my daily is a 2023 Corolla GR AWD with only a intercooler upgrade and full custom charge pipes and make 350whp and 355wtq.

Sorry bro but this car is too rough for me. Some people like fixing other peoples haggard builds, I don’t. You either were distracted during the showing, too excited and not being attentive or too afraid to walk away. I would rather take the L on the trip loss than be disappointed in my purchase. This one is a dud beat up project that a kid ruined and quit on in my eyes. Hope everything works out though boss

I’m out here in Cali and I was looking at some of these. for a running rsx not bad. I just bought a 96 civic dx hatch for 4200 but it’s super clean and original 200k mile engine still running strong and the transmission seems just fine no grinding maaaaaybe needs a new clutch soon but overall solid. And the rsx is newer so I think you did ok

Just so you know that’s not an aspec front lip it’s a eBay mugen rep. The sides and rear are a spec though. Minus the bumpers the body doesn’t look to bad. For 4k it’s in rough shape but the goodies and kpro make it kinda worth it.

I'm in Chicago and I'll gladly pay 4k for a type s that needs love especially if it's relatively rust free. Over here most of the expense on older vehicles is replacing things destroyed by salt.

Question, why not take the Z1 head and put DC2.2 cams? i use them in my FA5 which is also supercharged. only down side is that you're limited to 40-41 degrees of VTC.

ALRIGHT DONT CHANGE The Head to a k20 thats actually not a better head then what you have compared to the rbb k24. Idk why these kids keep thinking it’s better head bro. K24s are proven to flow better ! Why ? Cause it has bigger valves . So if your doing a 50 degree vtc which all of us do if your smart, than don’t change to smaller head. You could mil the head to get a lil more compression if you wanted to further the gains. Vtc plus k20 oil pump on a full k24 will always have better power . Peace

Don’t waste your money on junk optima battery’s. Rock the cheap battery until it dies unless it struggles to start the car. I run Walmart everstart batteries in my 2j drift car and my jzx100 and never had any issues and they’re dumb cheap
