Other thing wrong with this car is the seats, the base model seats are garbage, the nismo seats are ok but the seat bottoms are the fuckin same as the base seats! Fuckin flat-ass seat bottoms with very little bolstering. Oh and neither of the seats has lumbar support. Plus the engine vibrates the shifter like a mofo.

I've owned mine for 3 weeks now, that temp problem is very real, I'm constantly glancing at it. Cruising at 80 on the interstate in 6th gear hovers those temps probably around 218, I plan on doing exhaust and air intake first with a tune but I'll definitely want an aftermarket oil cooler first. The Z is a fantastic car. I have a ‘13 and have had it for 2.5 years, absolutely love it. So fun to drive. Some stuff I think that is the clutch is so weird but when you get used to it, it’s not that bad. I have a sport touring model so it’s fully loaded and it is awesome! The brakes are great, handles very well on curvy roads. I have taken the car on the dragon (TN/NC border in the Smokey Mountains) and it does well. I’m not worried about oil temps cause I’m sure the car can handle it fine. I’ve never had the car go into limp mode doing runs on the tail of the dragon and I’ve had temps all the way up to 260. The stock oil cooler isn’t much but it does its job. If you plan to beat the car which it’s real reliable, get a bigger oil cooler, that’s for any sports car tbh. I see people here complaining at 80mph oil is at 220, I usually don’t see higher than 200-210 on a hot day (90-95 ambient). It’s a good car but it’s a sports car, remember that when buying it, you aren’t going to have a trunk lol which is shitty but it is what it is! Hope y’all love y’all car like mine. Btw stock rotors are shit, mine got warped after about 40k miles, upgrades to Z1 slotted and drilled and put Stainless steel lines while at it!

I bought a new 2019 all black 370Z sport coupe withe the 6-speed manual transmission and love the car. With my 3 rear-view mirrors properly adjusted there is no blindspot problem. I flushed the brake fluid and clutch hydraulic fluid at 10k miles, both were dirty. I wipe the interior plastic and leather with protectant occasionally, as it keeps them from drying out. One ounce of Redline Water Wetter per quart of coolant has lowered my oil temps from 5 to 10 degrees F. In the SF bay area where I live my engine oil temperature normally runs between 185 degree F to 200 degrees F, with an occasional spike to 220 degrees F if I'm sitting in stop and go traffic for a long time.

Well you're modding it and most of that stuff is fixable. Sucks you have to do it, but fixable. All 2 seat coupes have suck visibility around back. They can't really do anything about the hatch. You're damn near sitting on the wheels; no room for spacious trunk. Yeah the interior plastic could be better that's for sure. After I received a bunch of big ass boxes from Fast Intentions and a nice Ecutek tune I solved all those problems you hate. Don't forget a real diff. Now it's almost a perfect 2 seat coupe. I look forward to seeing your car's final form. Oh get your windshield tinted. I have Spectra Photosync on mine. It's damn near clear and blocks most of the UV light that eats up your dash.

I had a 370Z and I loved the car...sometimes I miss it and wish I still had it. I have a C7 Corvette now, but I've always loved Zs... I've also owned a 300ZX and 280Z. My 370Z was an auto so i didn't have the clutch issues, or any issues really, although it did get kinda warm when I drove it hard during club rallys / fun runs. The interior is kinda old school, but it reminded me of the old 240Z. Even after 10 years it's still pretty quick and looks great....and I still don't see many of them around. The Corvette does of course have more power, a better interior and a bigger hatch, but it also costs alot more. Both cars...and really all similar cars are difficult to see out of and would benefit from blind spot monitoring.

The problem is the VR30 isn't a better engine. The VQ37 is much stronger and can get a lot more horses out of it if you TT it like the VR30. And now, we're all stuck with a 3.0 VR30 vs the better VQ37. But hey, you called the engine.
@JpCharisma2 жыл бұрын
It was kinda a given but we’re hoping Nissan made updates to the VR30. That makes it more reliable then the previous versions. The downside with the VQ37VHR is the amount of labor, funds, time, and cost it takes to make the VQ37vhr 450whp+. Generally speaking a bolt on VR30 is cheaper to make power than a proper setup on a VQ37VHR.
@ToneysReviews2 жыл бұрын
@@JpCharisma Considering that the 400z is going to be a 40k car for the baseline model I would say that the 370 is cheaper. For 10k of engine work you could easily get a 370 to 600+ whp.

I was dead set on wanting a 370z for my next car cause I've been a dream of mine for a while but I had never heard of the blindspot problem until now, kinda makes me not want one if it's unsafe

If they put a better engine in the car then you wouldn't be able to afford the car lol. It would just be another super car with a super price.

Bruh a VR30DDTT is in the Q60 and isn’t a super car price lol

Young man, you need to understand something, All vehicles now days are made cheaply, I have a 350Z...deal with it !
@JpCharisma5 жыл бұрын
I completely understand but to continue the same technology for 10 years. Without any updates or recalls due to faulty parts like the CSC is a problem. I love my car to death, but I’m still going to voice my opinion.
