Sin 111 needs to be taken off. Bruce Banner cannot kill himself, or die in human form. He becomes the Hulk if he is harmed while in normal human form. Any Hulk fan knows this.

@MeshaMichaelSavio9 жыл бұрын
Well the thing is, even after his long fight with Abomination, which gives him plenty of reason and time to be more angry than ever before, he's still massively struggling to be on equal footing with him. Also, even the base level of Hulk's power and strength should be more than enough to lift and throw cars and whatnot.
@Theinen849 жыл бұрын
***** Yep. The Abomination has an extremely high base strength, as most Gamma powered characters do (look at Spiderman when he goes all out), but Hulk has to ramp up. Not to mention that change, when he was struggling with the cars and against the army, was when he Hulked out due to being in danger, and Bruce was actively trying not to because Betty was there. Compared to his first change, out of anger and he immediately started throwing stuff around, or the end one, yeah...

At the end of The Incredible Hulk it's demonstrated that Banner has gained control of the titular character; however, in The Avengers it's shown that he can't control it until the very end with the, "That's my secret. I'm always angry," line, but The Age of Ultron insists that he has no control and needs Black Widow to keep him in check. I think Marvel learned continuity from Steven Moffat.
@RiamiAurum6 жыл бұрын
Sir Vader its not that he can control it It works like this, if his emotions get the better of him. He turns into hulk But lets say he isn't being threatened or hyped up. He can change into the hulk at will
@FHTV195 жыл бұрын

@dancingmonkey084 жыл бұрын
thats easily explained...he gains control at the end of The Incredible Hulk, but its the mind stone thats screwing him up in the Avengers when he transforms, its messed him up so he doesnt have control when he changes...but then, when hes free of the influence, he can go back to transforming when he chooses and like Conn Benn explained, he needed Black Widow when he wanted to change back to Bruce, thats why he stayed as Hulk for 2 years in Thor Ragnarok
@EVERBEE_SEWING_BEE4 жыл бұрын
IMO, it's not an issue of continuity, in so much as I think everyone concerned was trying to forget TIH ever existed. Would have worked too if they remembered to delete the Tony Stark scene in the end.

@TREJAN CRIGER This movie isn't based on a super hero movie, Bruce Banner isn't a superhero to anyone but to himself. This movie is all about dealing with buried trauma, from his childhood to his adult life. His Father, David worked in a lab and injected his son "Bruce Banner" with a substance that changed his life forever. His father was abusive towards his family and the Hulk witnessed alot during his childhood. He becomes very emotionless and started to have dreams based off of his trauma. The dreams revolved around imagery of closed doors. What was behind that doors scared Bruce. When the doors finally open The Hulk is staring at Bruce. Hulk was born into Bruce's mind way before manifesting as the physical form of his built up anger. Anger is a form of emotion that Bruce had a very hard time controlling, and Anger is usually a form of other built of feelings that you have been supressing. This movie is all about dealing with past trauma!! The Incredible Hulk leading after that was a very good following up movie. But the whole avengers and thor hulk is just BS

cinema sins should hire a scientist consultant because the biggest sin of all is that if bruce's blood can give someone radiation poisoning then he would CONSTANTLY be irradiating people just by standing near them.
@MadMackSkillz9 жыл бұрын
You realize blood is on the inside of his body, right? Also, banner's blood (in this movie) only irradiated people with direct physical contact, such as it being ingested, drank, or it touching your skin.
@kugelblitz19189 жыл бұрын
MadMackSkillz You realize radition doesn't work like that? If his blood is radioactive, his whole body is radioactive. It's gamma rays, not gamma microbs. Hell, his house or any place he stays long enough would be setting off Geiger counters.
@sephapplewhite84779 жыл бұрын
But for it to require that kind of poisoning it would have to be an alpha particle emitter, which it's not. It's gamma. *Ding*
@Novenae_CCG9 жыл бұрын
MadMackSkillz The deal with radiation is that the radioactive substance is constantly 'glowing' as it were, since radiation is the transmission of energy through space, all across the electromagnetic (light) spectrum. Radiowaves, x-rays, visible light, and of course gamma rays. Gamma rays are so energetic that they're only stopped by meters of lead. 1) If it's so incredibly weak that it's not possible to pass through the Hulk's skin, it shouldn't be powerful enough to enact any kind of physical transformation. He shouldn't be able to become the hulk. 2) Especially _outside_ the body, the is very little resistance to stop the radiation from his blood. It doesn't matter if it touches a person's skin or not - the point of radiation is that the waves are emitted through space.
@Scream_Lord9 жыл бұрын
MadMackSkillz Radiation is also clingy, anything in Bruce's blood (cells, oxygen co2) would also be irradiated and then in turn irradiate ALL the cells inside and out of his body, including skin and lungs. So he's irradiate everything he touches and/or breathes on. And eventually he litterally radiate radiation. Also sweat, tears, and Hulk soodge would also be radioactive with or without what I just said.

I'm sure many in the audience had seen the Iron Man after credit scene where Nick Fury told Tony that they were putting together a "team", so the "we" would naturally be assumed to be SHIELD. Also the real reason Stark met with General Ross in that bar was not to recruit anyone - he was sent as a patsy to piss Ross off. The reason was that Ross had custody of the Abomination, and the World Security Council wanted him to be part of the Avengers Initiative; Fury didn't want that, so he asked Tony, in his capacity as "The Consultant" (the after credits scene in TIH actually takes place right after Iron Man 2 and Thor). Having angered Ross, Stark antagonized him further by buying the bar and having Ross kicked out; this had the result of Ross refusing to release Blonsky over to SHIELD - at least for the time being, resulting in Blonsky not becoming an Avenger.
@KingKuuga8 жыл бұрын
+jpowell180 In this movie's defense (and CinemaSins's), none of that was decided until years after this movie came out because they realized it didn't make sense with the universe they'd built by basically ignoring Hulk.
@Tan87ful8 жыл бұрын
I didn't see it in Iron Man. It was after Thor & the 1st Captain America movie I saw a scene after the credits went off. I was at home watching the movies & I got up to go to the kitchen. I heard talking and I was like WTH. lol. That's when they were talking about a team. In Thor, the Shield agent played by Samuel L Jackson went to the man who was playing Natalie Portman's father to ask him to look at the cube power thingie that I believe the ugly red man was using to power the entire Hydra enemy operation. Why would they put these scenes after the credits where people won't see them? Was it a secret where they didn't want to obvious to everyone?

Mr. blue becomes the Leader. I would like to see him return in another MCU movie.
@TaskMaster59 жыл бұрын
+Martin Guzman Kind of a wasted little cameo too. They show him begin to transform, but then they never do anything with it. It's kind of baffling they can't seem to figure out how to make a good Hulk movie. Especially when the character has a LOT of depth that people overlook because when they think 'Hulk' they think rampaging monster and that's it.
@MrMoonman30008 жыл бұрын
+Martin Guzman I'd like to see the Leader as a season villain in Agents of SHIELD. I know they are going the Inhumans route, but the Leader is such a great supervillain. Besides, since Incredible Hulk is canon, the Leader definitely exists in the MCU. So it begs the question, where is he?

I know this is undoubtedly the black sheep of the MCU, but I love this movie. Norton and Tyler are amazing actors, the Hulk design is the best by far, the action is awesome and it captures the darker tone of the Hulk, which is my favorite marvel character. And I know I'm not alone. Also, he actually says "Hulk Smash", which should have redacted at least one sin.

The 'it's not anger than makes him hulk out but a high heart rate' was stupid...and clearly a ham-fisted plot device, right from the get-go. Plus, the 'Ed Norton is in this, and he is never in a bad movie' b.s. used to promote this mediocre film just raised people's expectations. And trying to explain away why people don't like your pet movie because of people 'hating on it' just means you are a deluded fanboy. People don't like movies because they suck (to them). That's it.

Another sin being (either for this movie or another afterwards in the MCU) is wondering what the hell the military does with The Abomination afterwards. I mean, he may not get stronger with anger like Hulk does, but he's still physically stronger than (not yet angrier) Hulk, and not only does he have the gamma radiation boost, but also the flawed super soldier serum boost, so Blonsky should not have taken too long to recover from his fighting Bruce and should have been able to easily escape before they could get him anywhere to be held, and even if they did get him somewhere fast enough, there's really not much that would be able to hold him.. I mean, they just leave Blonsky lying on the ground, exhausted from fighting Hulk, not paying attention to him whatsoever as they watch the Hulk x Betty moment before Hulk goes taking off and everyone still watching.

Sin 33, 34, 35, 38, and 39 aren't Sins just because you didn't understand the point.. or is that what the sin is? "This is a sin because I personally didn't get it, even if everyone else did" --33 - implying it'd been a day since he'd turned back, to show the passage of time is "misspelling 0"? --34 - How is him travelling 3,000+ miles a sin? Hulk can run crazy fast and jump really, really far, so not sure how that's a sin.. --35 - David and Bruce are the same character. In the show they renamed him "David Bruce Banner", in the comics he's "Robert Bruce Banner", but they're both the same character. You'd think you'd be able to tell since, y'know, they're both THE HULK?* --38 - The Government has done this multiple times, to maintain secrecy. The scientists can't reveal what they're actually working on if they themselves don't know it. In this, he wasn't testing for something else, he was obviously working on enhancing humans, since, again, HULK? --39 - It's relevant because it's there to show how much time has passed, same reason as 33. I love your videos, but this one is seriously sub-par. *Fun fact: When writing The Incredible Hulk TV show, a certain executive said he should be renamed David because the name Bruce was "too faggy".
@shriharihudli8 жыл бұрын
+Barrett Johnson Yeah, I remember that. He said the alliteration of the name made it sound too childish, so he changed it from Bruce to David.
@TheCarbonMirror8 жыл бұрын
+Barrett Johnson there's no way a scientist could ever effectively work on something if they don't know the end goal. what i believe you're thinking of is when a scientist only works on part of the whole project and the rest is taken by others then some overseeing scientist has to put those results together to see if they're usable. you literally can't run tests if you don't know what you're looking for. in this case the only argument would be that they wanted their soldiers to be gamma ray resistant so Banner was working on that portion, it makes no sense if he was creating a super soldier formula while looking for gamma resistance.
