9:22 OK, for 1995 the reflections on the glass, and Homer's perfectly-matched lightsourcing & shadow in the next shot, deserve some sins off. This is really good work for the time, not to mention the difficulty translating 2D characters to 3D in the first place.

It's always nice to notice a sublime detail that exists to immerse, rather than draw the eye and flex the skill it must have taken to include such detail. But the whole 3D animation is such a great example of what elevated The Simpsons from funny to fascinating. It really did the best a paid production could at being art. The directors, storyboarders, writers, and animators worked with a passion bigger than a paycheck could motivate.

I feel like you should’ve questioned why Kent Brockman appears completely unharmed after the mascots attack when the last we heard of him was him being picked up by the giant version of himself, followed by a ripping/crunching noise. He doesn’t even look injured afterwards.

Treehouse of Horror VI is one of the top three of all Treehouses of Horror. Treehouse IV is first, Treehouse V is second, then this one. All of the first six Treehouses are some of the best episodes of the entire series. Just as the show itself has, the Treehouse of Horror episodes have long since jumped the shark.

-I'm glad I'm not the only one to think Homer put a condom on his head. They always say that you should have the tip of the condom a little loose and pinched (to remove air). Homer has it really loose and forgot to pinch it. When it is on, it also looks like an index finger pointing behind him. -If Lard Lad is made of metal, the screeching may not be from vocal chords but scraping metal - scraped on purpose to mimic screaming. -"It worked, they're all dead." Then the look and the ads come back to life!

The layout of the house tends to be inconsistent. The TV room sometimes goes into the front hall rather than the main living room. Bart and Lisa’s rooms sometimes are on the left side of the hall facing the back yard (Lisa the Vegetarian uses this for the “he doesn’t have to rub it in my face” gag and Bart’s room faces this direction in the movie) when they’re usually on the right side windows facing the front yard. In one episode Bart’s bed crashes through a wall in Homer and Marge’s room that shouldn’t have floor on the other side for Bart to crash in through. The garage door from the kitchen has sometimes been used as the basement door.
