At the end of the anime, the 3 characters who appears are a very important characters of the next volumes of the light novel(the anime uses only 2 or 3 volumes). The 3 characters are if i don't forget it(i am reading the 5th volume) Plum, Azriel and Amira. For me, the appear of this characters at the end are a signal of a second season :v

Another easter egg... The show was composed by video game composers. One of my favorite composers Shinji Hosoe composed songs for the show. He's known for his contribution to Namco video games. Also for naruto video game fans. He composed basically every song in the Clash Of Ninja series. But I've never watched this anime, I've only heard the soundtrack.

I think there's another reference: about the names of the Exceed. Old Deus and Ex-machina; when you put the two together, it says Deus Ex-Machina which is a popular trope in which characters in trouble/danger are saved by a god or just really someone who's powerful. I think it references the fact Sora and Shiro arrived. By deciding to challenge other races and eventually Tet, I guess it means that they're going to save Tet from feeling bored.

I hate harems. With a passion. But I ended up REALLY liking No Game No Life. 1. Sora is badass in all aspects. 2. All the harem girls are actually interesting and don't just feel like "Loli flag geto! Neko flag geto!" 3. The games themselves feel like a mix between Yugioh and Liar Game. Not as complex as Liar Game, and still has BS exploitable rules like Yugioh, yet still manages to seem clever when Sora wins.

in sora's speech, at the end he said "we can become anything!" (if translated correctly ) which reflects the ability of pawn to promote itself to any rank (except king). so i think imanity, who are at the bottom, can rise to be at any rank except king and to fill them to the brim, tet gave them the king's piece i.e. shiro and sora. or maybe i am just overthinking.

I just realized why imanity was given the king piece. Because imanity is weak, but is the most important race. The king can only move one block around them, so it is pretty powerless. Yet you have to capture the king making him the most important piece in play. Damn.

"Tet" is the ninth letter in Hebrew, it does not mean "god" (that would be "Elohim" or "El") Based on google, "Tetragrammaton" is originated from Greek, Tetra = 4 (that I actually knew :)) and "grammaton" is roughly translated to"letters", meaning, a 4 letters word is a "Tetragrammaton", The Jewish god (which is also both Christian and Muslim god actually) is named "יהוה", which translate roughly to "will become", it is a 4 letters word and therefore a tetragrammaton, however - it is not the only one, not sure why all sources point to that specific word though, but it is not originated in Hebrew, it does not (necessarily) mean god but I can accept the fact the writer of the manga got it wrong as most sources claims otherwise. For everyone out there wondering when Season 2 is coming out, sadly... There's a high chance that it won't come out. The studio that created No Game No Life is Studio Madhouse. Also known as the studio that has literally lost a lot of members working within it. Though there might just be a chance that it'll continue. One of the directors died, but there are a few more left. And the people acting out the Voices remain alive. It may or may not come out, but I hope it does.

an important point was in the movie. I would like to see a video from aki about no game no life zero. The movie starts with riku playing a chess game with tet and always losing but at the end of the movie he manages to get a draw in the chess game with perpetual lock of chess. Before dying he says that only if we(riku and schwi) be together again they will win and thats what happened. Tet gets defeated by shiro and sora in the chess game at the start of ngnl
