I like how you presenting info. Just fyi I did have perfect kidneys (creatinine 0,68), always been healthy all my life, eating healthy, no soft drinks, no meds whatsoever, bp 100/65. Healthy pregnancy 3 years ago. They gave me 65 ml of Xenetix, I had a night mare CIN, I developed severe hypovolimia after, but water was not helping me it wasn’t reabsorbed. I lost all water weight I became so thin in 2 days just skin and bones it was scary- dry skin, dry eyes and mouth. Didn’t go to the hospital, but had to, was way too dizzy upon standing on day 3. It’s 6 months and I still have kidney problems I never thought I would ever have. Even though my creatinine is at 0,79 now. This stuff also affected my vision, (had perfect vision). I lost my life! And I didn’t even need the IV to begin with😢 I just cry every day, and I’m only 38.

This is very helpful information. Thank you for commenting. And yes, there's still a lot we don't understand about these medications. I don't know what to say besides encouraging you to work with the hospital to learn what type of IV contrast was used and hold the manufacturer accountable. Thank you.
