Jean Grey is still alive, but barely. But because she still speaks, which a dead person can't do. I think it's more they can't heal a injuries than trying to bring her back to life. As we seen on the RPOX Issue 5 cover. Jean Grey is alive with the Phoenix which means the phoenix is going to come back to life and stop Enigma.

.....actually Xavier's real problem is ever giving anyone the chance to realize he is keeping secrets. Being pratical is a necessary curse of the Wise however the dillusional will color the issue as "Lies". ​@@user-yp2iy2ww5p when it comes to Elixir, Blerd has refered to his healing process as resurrecting before, such as when Destiny got stabbed recently by Mother Righteous (and to be fair, Elixir has done a resurrection before) but in Jean's case it may still apply since her being in the White Hot Room is a special case. She comes there after death, so what we see of her isn't technically reborn yet. I guess that plays into Elixir being ineffective since she's probably a psionic energy form, wounded by symbolic magic.

I’ve loved The Krakoa era and honestly I’m sad to see it go but with how complicated things have gotten such as the details in this issue it must happen. Whenever I get reading about dominion in these comics lately I’m just ready to get this story done. Now don’t get me wrong all of it is interesting but it’s equally as Complicated.

Dr Doom could fix that situation easily with a Doomlock. You can change the timeline without one. Doomlocks are chronal variance inhibitor invented by Doctor Doom to allow individuals to time travel, change the past, and affect their own present without creating a divergent timeline.

House of X #2...Moira had full knowledge of her previous life while in the womb. I wonder if they meant her powers were activated if she had the knowledge of past life.

Hence why Xavier has reason to doubt depowering her works, but keep in mind, her power is not simply being born with her knowledge of previous lives, its the ability to be reborn and send back experiences of the previous life. There may be a couple technicalities: 1. Her past self is the one with the power, not her reborn self 2. Her reborn self receives data but must wait until later for full activation to be able to repeat the reset and transmit (presumably at age 13)

Meh, I do think Hickmans idea for Moira and her power being brilliant . However I do think the whole deal of her going to the dark side like she had was just something written for the shock value more and has been pretty much ruined. So I guess it’s the reboot route to clean up the huge mess the current x office has made

The comment about Cypher still being hidden is interesting. Could he be in a no-place in the Krakoa entity that left the island when Nimrod attempted to kill it? Krakoa would be foolish to leave Cypher behind for Nimrod to find on the island. Xavier's actions seem to follow Magnus's words to Storm as he lays dying to watch Xavier, which the direction that Charles is taking is one that not everyone would agree upon. Whether Moira's knowledge at birth or her power since birth, might be questionable decision, as if Moira has knowledge as fetus like Charles over Cassandra during development, would Moira be able to protect while in mother's womb, which if her first life, she had no prior knowledge make her most vulnerable if she didn't develop power to being reborn. If Moira had the power of rebirth at development time, that terminating pregnancy & mother, she would still be reborn. If Charles did that for 10 cycles of Moira before maturity, would there be any version of Charles/Moira to develop as mutants to form an X-men? Wouldn't that be just another Earth version of 'Otherworld'? Which if 'Other World' of Captain Britain had not developed a multiverse or Spider Verse where the Dominion took over? As much as I've followed X-Men, for the since they came out, this storyline is making some plots complicated for the direction that they want to go and its place with the rest of the Marvel Universe.

me too! I liked this issue a lot but this was a huge disappointment for me. He was crucial to Krakoa from the beginning and throughout... he was even the one who let Moira go but exiled her in Inferno. He really deserved to be around for the closure of this era. I guess there's a possibility he'll show up at the end but I really wanted him to be an active player with agency.

I really thought that the guilt of that was going to be the explanation for his colder behavior, and we would get some insight into his thoughts about the nation he saw from behind the scenes. I was even sure that the reason he yelled at Rasputin "you were meant to be some kind of hero" last issue, was because he was projecting. But nope, just sinister again.

Moira only went "evil" because both Xavier and Magneto ignored her and included Mister Sinister in creating Krakoa. The Right/Correct thing to do is go back in time and prevent Charles and Magneto from allying with Mister Sinister in creating Krakoa and joining the Quiet Council.

Moira wanted to gather all the mutants together and cure them. She didn't believe in the mutant nation plan. She was only forced into it by Mystique and Destiny. I mean she withdrawn information for Charles and Erik because she was using them.

I hate to admit it, but it looks like ever since the Krakoa era started, all or most of the mutants troubles surround Moira, I don't think she is directly responsible for the Dominion, but a lot of the x-teams are fighting extra hard to gain a winning advantage, because Nimrod and Omega Sentinel is part of Sinister's plot to reach Dominionhood and Moira is one of the chess peaces Just like Manifold is the heroes trump card!

But Blerd, if Xavier can't kill Moira as a baby, because her power may have been active from birth, then logically they can't kill her at any point in her timeline. After puberty, before puberty, if Moira is natally active, any time she is killed she will reincarnate and obliterate the timeline, right?

Three possible events from storyline, Jean destroys the Dominion and sets up shop. Moira becomes the Dominion without Enigma. We kill Moira and put a mutant in of Enigma as the Mutant Dominion.

Do you believe that the Sinister in this comic is the Sinister from the timeline that Enigma destroyed? The one with an A.I. Iron Man, Ms. Marvel as Captain Krakoa, Darwin in the Xavier chair, and in that timeline, Wolverine met a captive Mr. Sinister and Sinister said that it was a good idea that they didn't kill him because he had his backups before Wolverine killed him. So what if his backups were initiated when he died and this Sinister in the Cyfer body is actually that alternate timeline Sinister that had this escape plan? Tell me what you all think.

Yes, he himself is proof of powers being active even before birth. It wasnt retconned. It is just that this supports his worry that he can't trust Moira's info about when her powers activated since puberty activations are not universal.

Gotta keep in mind she tried several different approaches. This 10th life business was her learning from the failures of those including not letting precogs in so the fate of Krakoa isn't foreseen, and not telling the masses where it is all headed.

@@bajansamurai thing was, those others lives showed her what would happen if she went to extremes on opposite ends of ideology (Xavier, Magneto, Apocalypse) AFTER being torched by destiny & mystique. In her tenth life, she put the actions of those two from that life upon the two she was seeing in this timeline, and decided instead of being straightforward with everything she has gone through, decided to play secrets. She had it in the palm of her hand: with all the mutants working together, and going the middle path of ideology, she had the best chance of winning it all if she didn't do some of those stupid rules. But instead she decided to play in the dark, and fuck around, which is why Xavier and Eric didn't trust her as well. Moria doesn't deserve any sympathy for playing stupid games and getting stupid prizes.

@@mjr8888 I don't think she does either, I was just pointing out this approach is 1) the result of trying it multiple times differently and failing, and 2) an approach developed with the aid of Xavier and Magneto who [supposedly] knew the whole story and decided to keep her a secret from the rest of Krakoa. Either way, she's still the same person who early on wanted to be rid of her mutation.

@@mjr8888I think if moira tried to make everyone a mutant rather than get rid of mutants, that would’ve been a better choice. Most people who hate mutants are either scared of them as they don’t understand them or they are jealous of mutants. Unlock any latent x genes or give humans an x gene and most of these issues would be solved
