I like the idea of the ranked trials. It will just be incredibly difficult for solo queue unless they do something to make this clearer. Maybe something similar to splatoon's ranking where you only get matched with other people who are also in their allocated rank up matches so your goals are aligned

And then the next few weeks I'll struggle to get more than 3 kills and die a lot. Idk if it's me or if it's the matchmaking

It's honestly going to be a lot easier than you think. Majority of players have a low mmr so the challenges won't be hard. The higher mmr the harder it will be just based upon player skill overall in the match. Most people are average gamers so they have an average mmr getting kills in low mmr lobbies is light work. Getting kills in a high mmr lobby will be more of a challenge. It's going to be way easier than most people think

The heat shields should still be able to place under tridents. It’s referring to an exploit where players would drop heat shields onto the trident and store them for end game.

With the new respawn mechanics, you should spawn with the level of shield you died with, but to prevent duplication cheering, it should only have 2 bars of shield. So you still have a purple shield, for example, but you have to fill the shield after you drop

nah teamwork should be rewarded. Especially at the state how the disconnect culture has taken over in pubs. In regards to rank, it's literally a homing beacon for 3rd parties. It's a death sentence regardless

Respawning with your og shields doesnt make any sense because then there would be duplicate shields. Imagine your teammate has blue shields and you kill yourself to give him your red shield.

Pros are so upset with the respawn change. I’m glad Apex isn’t catering to pros as much anymore because listening to them over your main players is why the game has went to 💩 for so many people. I don’t see people really abusing the shield because it takes too long to respawn and land to wait on just shield. And also, it gives away your team’s location causing third parties. So I think Pros are just finding something wrong with it for no reason at this point.
