Thank you so much for the detailed video. Exactly what I was looking for. I want to study in Canada the only thing holding me back is the concerns about raising my toddler. I hope to bring my spouse and my toddler asap once I reach Canada. I guess I'll have to complete 18 months in Canada to receive CCB. Could you please confirm if I can avail subsidy for childcare while I am on student visa and my spouse on open work permit who will be either working or on job hunt (90 days Grace period) ? Would be really helpful if you could confirm this

Hi Anu, Yes, you need to complete 18 months in Canada to receive monthly Child Care Benefit. You will be eligible to receive child care subsidy if on student visa. But be aware about the waiting period to complete subsidy processes.
