That was awesome Brian, wonderful job!! I come from the time period of fishing short all roller rods with harness and fighting belts where using the rail was just something a few were practicing to fight big fish as they were getting schooled and spooled on stand up so a lot has changed since then. Such great advice and I will be putting your tips and tactics to good use going forward, thanks again.

Thank you for the video. Due to injuries I’ve been worried about getting out and fighting those bluefin, but have a lot more “C” (confidence) after watching Brian explain how rail rods work. Now to select the right one and length for my aging body.

Awesome information. Rail rods are getting longer and everyone thinks it's more leverage on you when it's actually more leverage,material and graphite against the fish. My friends have 8 foot rails rods and they're probably they mostly comfortable rail rods to fish
