Do objects/structures need to face the correct way for the visitors to be able to interact with them?

yes...when placing an object you will see a notification in the upper middle of the screen that tells you it's available for guests to use. If that doesn't show it means it's not alligned correctly

From what I played they need to face the road. Them being there gives the boost but things like buildings have to face road to make money

The things the guests can interact with: do these need to be on the main path, or can you build your own road and line buildings up to them for guests to use?

You can build your own roads to it, there is a limit to the overall amount of road you can build though.

about the building lodging i realise the guests from the top left island won't go to the island beside it after the cave area to shop or walk and the small island ppl on the top right if build a lodging ppl won't travel to the area after the cave thought both are link to one other can someone confirm this appreciate your help on this?

Yes. You can built paths that tourists will walk on.

go to the little boy who sells/makes souvenirs at the beach and ask him for a campfire. you nee atleast 100000 dokobucks/points to do a campfire. Also camp fire actives once you sleep

Kiryu can be an S rank guest as DLC along with the rest of your party members. Playing as Kiryu would create a plot inconsistency if you play for 180 days...
