I think you did a great job summing everything up! I also just finished my freshmen year at FSU, and I feel like you gave a great scope of everything our campus has to offer!

Emma - very nicely done. Well organized, clearly presented & informative. I Graduated from FSU in 1970. FSU was an excellent university then as it certainly is now. I am extremely proud of my time at and degree in business from FSU. Watching your presentation & the video background, confirms my great pride in FSU & it’s students and graduates. You are a great ambassador for college & most certainly Florida State University. Excellent job, Emma. Thanks for your work!

i wanna rush but i don't know if i should, it seems fun and i feel would be a great way to be involved, make friends, and have connections in the future. what are the costs of being in a sorority? what sorority are you in and why did you like that sorority? also what if a sorority you don't like chooses you?
@katieallen31424 жыл бұрын
Adriana Blasini i was in a sorority at fsu and personally feel like even if you don’t end up in the sorority you wanted/in one at all, the experience of recruitment is absolutely amazing and i am so so happy that i did it! you learn a ton about yourself and meet so many amazing people. sorority costs vary greatly depending on the sorority and different chapters include different things in their dues. mine was around $2500 per semester i believe. i was in alpha chi omega for a year and i was really happy when i ran home there on bid day because the people that i talked to there were so genuine and welcoming. if a sorority you don’t like chooses you, you don’t have to join and can go through the recruitment process the following year. you can also stop recruitment at any time during the process during the fall and rush in the spring... just keep in mind that not every sorority recruits in the spring. however, if you’re genuine throughout recruitment you’ll almost definitely find the house that’s right for you! also, try not to get wrapped up in sorority reputations, just follow your heart!

katie allen $2500 I need to work a lot hours at work to pay it 🥴
@katieallen31424 жыл бұрын
bby rose the first semester is the most expensive and it goes down a little after that, but yea it’s definitely pretty pricey at fsu! the good thing though is that while going through recruitment they tell you the finances way before you commit to anything. also from what i understand some sororities are good about working with people who can’t afford dues sometimes, but idk about all of them

also do you recommend going in as a freshman with exploratory major?
@penelopeabreu40834 жыл бұрын
I’m doing it! I’ve heard great things about going in as an exploratory major. people usually find what they want to do with their life and are less likely to change their major a lot. I haven’t a heard of a bad experience, yet.

I'm a junior and high school and FSU is my top option. I want to major in business. I am a very solid high school student with a overall unweighted gpa of a 93, 3.8 taking all honors and college level courses. I know FSU has a different GPA system so does anyone know how to convert it? I take the ACT tomorrow, what do you guys think I will need in order to most likely get in?
