Pretty accurate on most things here. I do want to stress what you were saying about job availability. It is difficult at times to find work in RI. A lot of government jobs but a lot of competition due to the size of the state.

Which area would be ideal for an older gay couple in their 60s that’s interested in a small town but likes a park to walk in and some local restaurants and shopping? Not really into bars and club scene. Is RI a friendly state to the LGBTQ taking Providence out of the equation.

My response would be, “absolutely not!” Just a few weeks ago two young girls were almost kidnapped by a fake Uber driver. That to me is enough said. But to add even more, especially during the time when the bars close, I wouldn’t let my dog in the city of Providence. Anyone who says anything different either doesn’t have children or is not telling the complete truth. Just my opinion

@@Lee-1207 Bars close at 1pm in PVD, there will be areas where you won’t be safe but in most areas you will be fine, that’s the truth.

Bars close at 2 pm on the weekends (Friday and Saturday) and I wouldn’t let my dog out in PVD after dark, never mind after the bars close.
