I don't fully understand the "behind the scenes" of rhythm shooting, but all I know is that I made the full switch to it 2 weeks after launch and I've definitely been a better shooter bc of it. Like you said, it's not a bigger green window. One of the devs said you'll only get that "70% boost" if you got an Excellent release on the 1st part (the Push timing). Imo that's the easiest part of the rhythm shooting as my misses are usually because I flicked too fast on the tempo. I think what really happened is that I got used to shooting with the stick and now it just feels more natural to use it. You're simply matching the movement of what you're looking at so it's kinda hard to mess that up. Using the button feels weird to me now, but it's best to use a combination of button and analog.

6:00 FACTS!!!! I been saying 2k24 was so much more of a skill gap. I hit contested reds all last year my homies had the same jumper and shot 20% less than me. There’s no point in going high 3 ball if the difference is only like 10% make percentage. Our skill potential is CAPPED this year

I can’t really agree with you….i shoot w both rhythm and square. rhythm is supposed to be harder and it’s a huge green window. I shoot consistently with both but rhythm shooting is def top tier I have so many games I went perfect from the 3 shooting straight rhythm. I went from shooting 45 percent before I even got into rhythm now I shoot 55% almost 60.

Have u heard about the rhythm shooting exploit on Xbox? U can use an elite controller to map down up on your right stick to your paddles making u always get a perfect tempo and u would only have to regular time your jumpshot instead of having to worry about tempo
