I started out trying to level each one at the same time, but I guess I may have to focus on one. Also balancing fighting world bosses and leveling up resources is a struggle cause they are all energy dependent

I focused on Cotton but once I max that out to 20 (at least) then ill move to wood

Do you know google spreadsheets dedicated for these gathering, harvesting and mining similar to the exploration quests?

It would be great if there was a visual difference between level 1 and level 5 wood etc. or if only the eligible items glowed.

There are updated visual differences now. The level one items look small/shrub like compared to the higher level resource nodes.
