I know a lot of people don’t care for them but I’ve enjoyed many figures from the carbonized line. As long as they don’t take away from mainline figures I’m fine with them. That being said, this new $70 US price tag for the new 2-pack is absurd. We have to draw the line somewhere. That Emperor’s Royal Guard looks really good but no way I’m paying that kind of money, will wait to see if they go on clearance.

I didn't mind the first 2 figures that came out as I couldn't find the originals first..the candy apple one sticks out for me as a displayer and the rest?...well each to there own..I hope they just put some energy into some more great NEW characters in the years to come...cheers Mike..great video🍺🍺🍻

I think the carbonized thing works ok on armored characters but giving a metallic finish to what is supposed to be cloth......just looks strange.....makes the figures look like statues??? But to each their own I suppose

Hello Mike thanks for sharing this video with us. I've picked up a couple of carbonized figures over the years. I have the Jet Trooper, got him on clearance for $17 I think. I wanted the Stormtrooper, so I picked him up. And I also picked up the Scout Trooper, you can never have to many troopers. And I also picked up the Shore Trooper. I personally use the carbonized figures as Commanders of my troops. I want the carbonized Royal Guard figure and the Tie Pilot looks ok, but $70 US is outrageous! I'm waiting for them to drop to $50 or less, Hasbro is crazy if they think we are going to pay that much for older figures with shiny paint 🖌️. And for the record I'd love to get a carbonized C-3PO he is a figure that would look amazing with carbonized paint treatment. IMO. Hey Tom, That C3PO in gold metallic sheen in a gold box should of been a no brainer for Hasbro to create. I would be keen on getting that one for the collection. The new price of $70USD is a kick in the wallet and collectors will just wait for a clearance like you said. Thank you my friend!

Great recap on the Carbonized figures Mike! What I wish Hasbro would do is, carbonize the droids. I feel that would make more sense than the figures they're choosing. But then again, it's Hasbro 🤪

That was a great recap of all the Carbonized figures. I'd forgotten about a few of those. Only have the Carbonized Boba Fett myself as it was a must have for me. I was also gifted the TVC Armourer thanks to Gilster & Papa Gord, what a couple of legends! Of the new ones...ohh that Royal Guard is grabbing my eye with the cherry red metallic...but it's a bit pricey in the two pack.... Cheers for another great video Mike!

I like these a lot but I am selective with them. Some are amazing and some just don’t appeal to me. The recent release is a little too pricey and a two pack when I think I just want the royal guard. Other than the Target ones recently that I think may have been a distribution issue, I don’t really see them peg warming yet. Boba Fett is my favorite by far.

Great carbonized BS (&TVC) figure review Mike. While I've been vocal about not loving the carbonized series, seeing your video today gave me more appreciation for this series overall. And looking back, the first 8 were all pretty nice (I own a few of those). The figures after that were ok, but I didn't like the packaging change to the generic packages. Seems a bit lazy compared to the first two waves Maybe that's where I started to sour on them a bit. Either way, I think I've softened a bit now after seeing all these together in your video. I'm sure that this line will continue on as long as people are willing to buy them as they are a simple repaint basically. Thanks for putting this together - I really enjoyed it.

Hey MoparMcNeer, I was thinking about that as I unpacked my figures to show in the video, these are something I appreciate and I don't want them to be oversaturated in the market just a special occasion for now and again in small numbers. It’s a ridiculous waste. Plastic crack. 😂it’s not healthy to offer these. The money from a collectors point of view could have been put too characters or vehicles. Wallet size is key. Hasbro over saturated the market with volume of the same products. This and the credit collection are prime examples of it. They look cool. But it’s stupid.
