If it wasn't for your video I would have written off A-frames due to the sleep space. THIS is the Aliner I would buy. The three bed layout maximizes the seating and sleeping area which is my point of contention when I compare A-frames to Popups. So easy to deploy and I love the outside kitchen. The 12V fridge is a major plus as they are very energy efficient compared to the junk 2/3-way black fridges. Put it on a slide with the range and it's super easy to access and pack which the walls are down. The ONLY issue for me is the terrible choice of AC and integration. I always prefer a residential window style for ease of replacement, 110V, and it dumps cold air right from the vent. From my research, users say Aliner AC's are pretty much terrible at cooling the trailer and use cheap non-insulated flexible dryer tubing to deliver the air.

This is a great video especially for someone who has never used an ALiner. Wonderful information and sense of humor. I would request that in future videos you mention the GVWR. Dry weight means nothing. I need to know what the max weight is going to be pulling. Also what is that cargo capacity and tongue weight. I also have another question that could apply for all ALiners .... is it possible to change out the cushion/mattress and still close it? I have to have a better bed due to disability.

How do you like the Command A/C Heat Pump? I've been looking at some but reviews have been mixed as to which type is better. Side mount or heat pump under bed, Thanks!

I've read the same. The Command is the worse of the two beside the Cool-Cat. While the sleeping is ideal in this unit I would drop down to the Ranger 12. I cancel so many trips in the summer due to the heat and humidity and would want the window style AC.

Ok 2387 lbs with or without gas tanks an battery. What’s a break away cable an what does it do ?

The break-away cable engages the trailer's brakes in the event the trailer disconnects from the tow vehicle.

Sleeping quarters is pretty good. The porta potty is awful for a 30 thousand dollar trailer. Might as well have a large tent with a wall for the restroom. and avoid the Calif tag fees.

The cassette toilet is not for everyone. They do have the tent bathrooms at Cabelas that are relatively inexpensive. I prefer to camp at state parks for $15-18 bucks a night instead of $80-$150+ for a private campground. Without hookups, if you fill up your black tank and there is no honey wagon service (additional fee of course), you have to break camp and drag the trailer to the dump station 2/3 times in a week. State parks don't have dump stations at least by me so you'd be hauling 125lb of sewage back home and get a septic dump out put in.

Yes, the Sienna should have a 3,500lbs towing cap. the Aliners will all weight under 2,300lbs

I think that might be a typo on the Aliner Website... It isn't listed on the sales sheet.

the "Family Expedition" doesn't have a microwave. The "Expedition" does have one.

It is actually under 2000 lbs, so towable by midsize SUV's, light duty trucks even

@@bcrosby51 You are correct. The last response was an error on our part. Majority of Aliners models are all under 2000 lbs. This particular model is one of their largest and does come in at the 2387 lbs. Even so the tow limit for the vehicle shown in the video is 3500lbs and easily tows this trailer.

Not ANY Ford Escape can tow it. You need the 2.0L EcoBoost® AWD & Class II Trailer Tow Package otherwise it's 1500lb max towing, which will not be able to pull this
