I can confirm killing Dracula unlocks act 2 as I had not killed him before the patch and unlocked act 2 when I killed him today.

actually didn't touch the game too much before act 2 update. Now it really got me. Yesterday I unlocked the new character and while the first run was tricky with kitting a lot, the 2nd run after getting some decent items and some lucky rolls on skills I obliterated the first act for the first time. One time I almost did with the Orc guy. The game hooked me now quite a bit and seems it was good for me to wait since now I can get the talent tree progression while playing the game properly for the first time

The update is great. Just need to farm talents which is way better than the stances or whatever they had before. Much more versatility and play style in mind. You still have all your items on characters and in stash so you have a massive head start from a new game. People upset are coping, really good addition imo. Would love to have more talent points available because in PvE games i am for massive game breaking power first, then add difficulties to match it later.

I agree. Once you get deep into those talent trees it’s a blast. They feel really powerful.

Muscle Mommy God is here. Also yeah earth spike is kinda op if you build it up. Earth Shield might be really good too but I only took it late in one run so far. Really like the archer he feels very strong and safe since you don't have to get close. So all in all, the update seems great to me. But I have also only just started playing, I'm sure I would have been PO'd if I had played 50 hours and new system dropped with all new progression lol

I dont understand i tried playing the game today and it seems i dont have access to any of the new content and its just running the old version of the game.

Same. I have killed Dracula many times but can't access the skill tree or the leaf on the floor or whatever.

Defeated Dracula on all characters - still cant get to act 2

I have a friend who isn’t able to get the second map as well. Even defeated Dracula on darkness 30. Must be a bug of some sort.

I feel substantially weaker. People overestimate the old traits they were helpful but didn't cause the drop. I get fewer red favors, do less damage, move slower all around feel weaker. That being said new powers, trees unlock all of the old traits anyway, unbound loot, new map, definitely a win. Merris is dead long live queen Skadi!
