My opinion is the BP is a little bit poor compared with other games, but it is not expensive. I prefer to pay $10 every season and get more rewards.

@@RealAsianRobot feel free to add this to your video notes if you’d like/agree. A quick fire review of this game from a 40hour working dad of 2, point of view. 1. If I had to put a price point on this game, from the moment it came out, the mechanics, graphics, dialogue, ect… I’d say it’s worth $40 US. Making the price of FREE worth to give it a try. 2. Game play. The game shines with its high speed combat, variety of characters, and impressive loot grind mechanics. All materials in this game serve a purpose and a reason, making grinding for them feel like a quest rather than a boring chore. 3. Graphics… yes! Looks amazing, however for this game to be worth the price of $60, the worlds need to feel more lived in. Wild life, small villages to explore, more dialogue left lying around that explains the area and its past. 4. Like Destiny, the mechanics of the game are poorly explained, but once you know how you will discover there is always something to do. Check off your daily task first, then weekly, next ping the Access Info Tab for the Descendant you wish to unlock. Lastly ping your side quest of choice and main quest… now you are ready to play. 5. DO NOT, and I mean it please do not buy Descendants. I discovered something beautiful about this game, and that’s grinding for a new character. Unlocking them feels like unlocking an exotic back in Destiny 1 after a raid boss fight. Yes the grind is tedious… but it’s suppose to be. Once that Descendant material drops, you will be fist pumping the air and high fiveing your friends. Trust me… it feels good. 6. This last part is good news to us busy dads. The best way to play this game is discovered is 8 hours a week. Playing every day could wear your out, and none of us has time for that anyways. However 8 hours a week is enough time to finish those task, refresh your mind, and simply enjoy it with your pals

Hey guys 2 weeks later I completed the battlepass most people have already decided for themselves whether or not theyre going to get it but at approximately 10$ worth of caliber and you get about 5$ worth in the battlepass itself i would say this completing the daily challenges are stupid easy takes 45 minutes and encourages you to try something new like hey get a 130 kills with a different weapon tyoe then what you're currently using. Throw it on private and do two void shard missions and voila your done or do things you're already doing like fight two collosi you know you got a few amprphous stacked up might as well crack em. As far as skins are concerned you get seasonal challenge coins to vet skins for the starting characters which are pretty dope. Im in hard mode and still occasionally pull out Lepic for example and i have Viessa if you arent playing heavily daily you probably won't get everything you want from using the challenge coins but you should be able to get at least one body skin that you can paint 2 weeks later $10 for the bongos alone is worth it lol. I'm guessing season 1 will have a better battlepass as well as be a bit pricier you get what you pay for kinda thing season 1 will also be longer then the preseason so it makes sense

@@RealAsianRobot Wow ok tbh my opinion is opposite of the majority but I didn't hate it for 10 dollars definitely got more then my money's Worth. Also idk if it was a glitch but me and my gamer bro were at around 70 I was at 71 and he was around the same about 10 seconds before the patch while chilling with bongos before getting kicked I got an achievement that said own 400 mods so it could be they added new achievements and I got several achievements but when I got back on I completed the battlepass like I had 26 levels it was WEIRD. The quest for beating 10 hard mode bosses was either changed or wrong it said you got a crystalization catalyst and he gave me and my buddy 650k gold and 65k kuiper (not tripping about it as I have 15 more blueprints waiting to be crafted after I finished farming ult bunny lol that's the strat to get catalyst blueprints 🤣) thanks for your feedback on the battlepass for season 1 I'm more then happy to be wrong just a guess and keep doing what your doing just discovered you yesterday but I'm picking up what your putting down

Hey robot, correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe in the weekly section, the “season” challenges are not weekly timed, but timed to the season, and only the “week 1” quests are tied to a seven day timer

I plan to cover ultimates much later in the game :). In general, no point in really using them early, the benefits are minimal and you will have to keep leveling them up and re-rolling them. However, I will eventually cover ALL ultimates and explain their best combinations.

Im not gonna be able to finish the campaign to do the hard missions for this weeks BP... Did anyone who didn't finish week one, were you able to finish it in week 2?

As far as I know, you can finish week 1 quests in week 2. However, I am not able to confirm this from my own experience. I would love to get your feedback in the subsequent week of your gameplay, as I am pretty sure the quests carry over (unlike the daily quests). I am still able to view my week 1 quests.

I believe it would be great if players received the same amount of in-game currency (calibre) after completing a BattlePass, allowing them to use it in subsequent seasons. This approach, similar to what Dead by Daylight does, could benefit players in different countries where purchasing new seasons can be expensive. By adjusting the reward system, game developers might encourage more returning players in future seasons. Otherwise, players may abandon the game in favor of more sustainable alternatives. @dust921 Hard to do a full guide on each mod. I can however answer your question. Defence does provide damage reduction but the reduction is relative to the enemy's attack. So more defense will help you survive for longer, the defense mod increases your total defense Stat by the amount shown on the mod (mine for example gives me like 30% extra defense). Simple answer, to survive more attacks, stack tons of defense

I've seen people use that gun and it visually makes the enemies invisible. Not a fan of that. No energy activators either when its 30usd in shop. Games good but the pricing is a joke on some things.

That sounds like a bug, it hasn't worked that way for us yet. Also the Battlepass is $10 USD (500 Caliber). So not sure where you got the idea of $30 from. For a $10 pass, I think it's fine tbh. 3 skins, bunch of Emotes and minor cosmetics. Seems alright to me

@@RealAsianRobot I think you misread the price part but it was referring to Energy Activators. Though I've been seeing people say 30usd a lot, up here in Canada its roughly 67$ for 2750 currency (which would cover 2 activators at 1200 each). So maybe 30$cad each. As for the gun spam. I think its because of the explosion being semi big but the fire rate being high. So when they spam it into a boss or crowd, all you can see is the explosions. I'm also referring to the mini bosses you find in public missions.

You have to do what they tell you to do, so some of your challenges, you might be using the wrong weapons, etc.

DONT START THIS GAME !!!! The drop rates are pathetic. The time required to farm materials is already time-consuming. Additionally, I have killed a hard Boss 200 times to get a weapon item ( research ) and still haven't received one after 200 tries. It's just a waste of time. so you first farm 200 times the same boring mission over and over agian. then you stacked your materials to kill a Hard boss. killed that 200 times and still no rewards. and remember if you got a weapon you want to max it out you need 4 extra weapons of the same type. so do the calculations. im just talking about 1 weapon item as you need 3 and a blueprint for a weapon. NOTHING THEN A WASTE OF TIME THIS GAME IS .
