I have had the gift of tongues for a while. But there's been some pastors, case in point John McArthur who states this is not good. That it's demonic, so I stopped for a long time, as I didn't want to do something wrong. Please help me, I want to make 100% that it's not wrong or demonic. I love the holy spirit and I would not want to grieve him. Please, please, David help me resolve this 100%. I love this gift, but I don't want to do anything against God. I desperately wanted to speak in tounges from years and on 2 September 2024 around 2 AM I received it. That night just as you said to trust in the holy spirit and saying holy spirit I trust in You then suddenly after few seconds the Holy spirit came into me and I no longer could feel my tounges and I started speaking in tounges and unknown words were just flowing out of my mouth!! Thanks to the Lord for this amazing gifts and keep it up Brother with your works 💪 by expanding the Lords kingdom. And you inspire my to have theI anointing just like you. I actually received it before I heard this sermon but this sermon broke it down in such detail and understanding. But I wanted to speak in tongues and I actually asked him to press it through me because I didn't have or seem to have enough Faith to muster up. Just making sounds on my own and when I was sleeping he actually did that. I Heard a voice in the room that woke me up and I realized it was my own as my own lips were moving. This was a little bit of showing, that gave me enough courage to go ahead and have faith and speak in tongues and not to worry that I'm not making mistakes, I'm not letting any kind of demonic spirits take over. At that time. Time there weren't many teachings or sermons that explain tongues and the way that this man did. Speaking in tongues is something every human who has the Holy spirit in him can do.

David it was 1974 and I was in Ralph Wilkerson’s church in Anaheim CA and I was a new Christian. He invited those who wanted to be born in the Spirit to come into a large room . I had no idea what to expect and I sat in one of the chairs and all he said was “start praying to the Lord “ and as I did my upper lip, on the right side, starting quivering very fast and my prayer language came. I burst into tears as the power was so strong.. I’ll never forget!

I ??? This, b cuz my pastor taught that , if u cannot interpet, then its just babblings...i was so overcome @1 time tat i refused to use my prayer language, b cuz i didnt want to go against God. But i was over come. Thank you for saying this because there has been a person in my life that says that unless I have been filled with the Holy Spirit I won't have the power to cast out demons as the disciples were not able until Jesus came and did this. Don't let not speaking in tongue hinder you ive seen where people focus on this and when they dont speak in tongue they will just walk away, one of my elders sisters from church speaking in tongue its multiple syllables speaking fast, I also heard a pastor say his wife when she first started to speak in tongue she didn't feel confident in the tongue that first came to her she ask God to help with a tongue that she was more comfortable and confident in and He helped all praise all praise to God amen amen amen Jesus thank you ❤❤❤💖🙏🙌🙏🙌🕊

Honestly I watched a older video of yours a few years back that helped me have the courage and the faith to pray in tongues. What caught my attention was when you said it would amplify walking in the Spirit: having more vivid dreams etc that resonated with me. When I do pray in tongues I've noticed I see things more but I don't use it as often so I am now encouraged to do it more often and longer duration then I do now.
