you unlock traits regardless of enchant. u just need that trait on that gear piece

yes you lose all traits if you try to put your blue into your new purple

u can stack blue, but if u can unlock some purples, u can go to purple instantly

Yo freshy, to upgrade an existing trait on a weapon, do I need the same weapon? Let’s say I have critical hit chance on my bow, and get a drop for critical hit chance on a wand, can I upgrade the trait on my bow using the wand? And does it also work with armour pieces, thank you

@@Nanatsuyoo upgrading works with any weapon so u can use wand traits on bow..only unlocking new trait u need the same weapon

I didn't pay much attention to the traits on my gear till 2 days before the end of the open beta. Only after talking to my guild mates and other guilds did I understand their importance but still didn’t understand them.

They are only important for PVP, as only weapon and ring traits affect your DPS. The general rule is to stack 1-2 stats with traits. Mixing everything is bad. All you need to know, which 3 traits to have on each gear piece, as long as you understand how to farm and upgrade them, you will be fine.

evasion is only useful during early game, just go full endurance on the latter
