Beautifully done and it makes me think of building a granny flat next to my daughter's home to help her with her family in future. 👍

I like the idea. We are looking at this layout for a vacationhome for us and our daugthers family. Especially as we are living very close in the same house on seperate floors. Myself growling up with my grandparents living very close.

Technical Issue: in nsw i don't think gflat can be built within 3m of a tree 4m+ height.. i assume this is because it may kill the tree.. (perhaps due to foundation or termites but less likely the reason). Perhaps they got permission to remove the tree, but left it there hoping it would survive the build. I hope so (I've planted 91 on my smaller block.. so yeah.. i kinda love them)

60 sqm is quite small. They could have more lounge space if they'd only have one bathroom, & made the kitchen /dining/ lounge more open plan for flexibility.
@ChubbyKittyMeow3 жыл бұрын
It’s not. I lived with husband and a baby for 3 years in 65 sqm, we were just fine. As soon the baby got older we have to move, but for 2 people is just enough, if you have a garden even better

@@ChubbyKittyMeow I've lived in places smaller than 60sqm & am currently building a grannyflat. The issues is the layout & 2 bathrooms which seems unnecessary- a good design can fit a bathroom, separate loo & laundry in a compact space that's still wheelchair accessible if necessary, something that is also overlooked in this design.

1 to 200 grand is insanely expensive for a two bedroom granny flat, even with current prices. It is so small

The grandparents are not happy. They feel disappointed because they left their home and explained everything dear to their heart for the granddaughter. I am sad for them and I hope the daughter and granddaughter will feel their sacrifice for them.But the decor is very cool from home to wonderful garden
