I'm so excited about the village customization!! That's something I really enjoyed in SoS A New Beginning! Don't get me started on the characters!! Building the towns is what I'm so excited about, too. I hope they also put furniture placement on a grid (drove me batty in 5 and somewhat 4 trying to align them neatly) like placing the buildings showed.

Amazing summary! Thanks for giving the extra details about Japanese mythology that I missed. I'm so excited for this game! It doesn't feel like the Rune Factory I fell in love with, but I'm open to these new mechanics (as long as they don't take away from the charm of the characters). Above all, I'm just really happy to be returning to the relationship with the earth and runes, something I felt lacked a bit in RF5. Can't wait to learn more about the characters in the future! I've got my eye on the supposed "Fall/Autumn God" and the "Sun/Light Goddess". They all look so interesting but these two stuck out to me the most!

I enjoy the lore that they've teased so far. The Fall god looks soo interesting!! A little bit reserved maybe? Definitely mysterious haha I love the sun goddesses design so much!! The vibrant gold and the turquoise green eyes~😍 She also looks like a coolheaded character to me!

It's a different vibe that I think Rune Factory needs to experiment with to try to play into modern farming game trends, I think! I have to admit that I was terrified by the idea of designing my own village (I think back to Story of Seasons: A New Beginning where the whole town customization thing pushed me away from Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons all together), but I have to admit that it looks soooo satisfying! I am definitely drawn to the Fall God's reservedness, it feels like he's hiding something! haha This may be because I've been playing Rune Factory 2 these days, but the Sun Goddess also reminds me of Max de Sainte Coquille with her blonde hair and gorgeous turquoise eyes! I've always loved Max and am just so happy to see his colours in a romanceable option this time!

I think this is the first video I've seen from this channel, it's really good! I like how much info you manage to cram in a short video and especially the speculation section has pointed out some things I didn't know before! Especially with the exorcist guy, I was confused because I didn't know the cultural references, some folks helped explain it to me and I feel this video made me feel a little more informed, too! I'd love to see more speculation into the characters and explaining of the design elements, it's so interesting~ I'm definitely looking forward to the possible marriage candidates video :3

I have always loved stories of regular humans getting powers from higher beings to help not only humans but the whole world environment. I've always appreciated the idea that you aren't killing things you fight too, but instead they get turned back to normal or return to the Forest of Beginnings. It's just such a cozy mood to know you aren't actually hurting anything 🥰 I hope they are all romancable! The protags being able to romance as well is so wonderful! Also love seeing Hina, she is just so beautiful. I blame my FF 14 friends for getting me into cat\were\bunny girls and guys 🤭 The research you did has me irrationally happy. I knew a little about what Japanese mythology and religious backgrounds some of this was, but you explained so much! I love how deep into real life lore this game is getting into ❤ Thank you so much for your detailed video and all the time it must have taken! True, it's a pretty cozy & peaceful JRPG for sure!🤭 I love it when we get to go on adventures in cozy games, even when they involve a bit of combat. Atmosphere is everything!!😍 I would guess they are all romanceable characters tbh! Excluding the tiny girl that I've left out in the video lmao. I didn't care much for Hina in RF5 (oops) but now she is a real beauty. Furry ears and tails are simply everywhere LOL Oooh I'm so glad you're mentioning that! I could've added more info on all things Japanese tbh but that would require a full dedicated video 😂 For example, I wasn't even talking about the Japanese style wedding attire (I totally should have!!)😱 But I am also very happy how much attention to detail was put into Guardians of Azuma!! Aww, it did take a while but I also tend to slack off lots and then it just takes me longer than necessary haha.

Definitely gonna be aiming for a marriage between the protags. I like the fact that combat (and it looks kinda good from the little we've seen) is in the game. I wonder how fast the levelling will be? Level 65 is something decent to aim for I guess.

this gets more and more intriguing. the fact that you can form a romance with both protagonist in game is interesting , i cant remember the last time i saw that😳😳im assuming this means after you choose one the other will automatically join you in the story?

I think they had a feature like this in some older Story of Seasons game, I believe!? It's definitely way too rare!! Yeah, I'd say we start off as one of the protags, and as we meet the antagonist of the story, we'll clash with the other protag for some reason. I kinda doubt that they'll "join" our party but it looks like they are pretty important to the plot.

Thanks for the video. The only things that i don't like sofar is that farming seems to be washed down like in tides. Atleast thats what the instant grow drum and the missing crop stats imply. I also hope that we have more weapon types than shown otherwise we will likely have also a reduced crafting system :/ We also have not seen any taming of monsters. It feels like the systems that i care about where washed down for more action based combat.

Thank you for watching and sharing your perspective (: It's hard to tell for me how in-depth farming will be based on the trailers. But there do seem to be systems like crop levels and probably soil quality at least. I am still hopeful that they are fleshing out the farming mechanics 🥰
