In patch 14.20, Collector and Yun Tal will cost now 2950 gold both but with the following nerf : Collector -> 60 to 50 Yun Tal -> 65 to 60 AD passiv dmg decrease 70 to 60 What are your thoughs abt it ? The build I go for is Infinity to Phantom Dancer or LDR then the other followed by Shieldbow and the last slot is whatever seems good at the moment. Plus berserk shoes usually

great advice, very concise. i have a question tho, why put 3 in q then max e? aleksis, SA phel demon thinks yomus and emax from start are best, almost true dmg at one item. is 3 points in q just for better minion last hits?

U need some ad for letahily too work, its better to go balanced like wise with how health/armor works ig. Phel gets 2 ad per level.

first 3-4 lvls ad is more useful for last hitting and lethality doesnt really do anything that early anyway

Not really for the minion last hits no, I'm just not a big fan of committing so many points this early into Lethality while not knowing how the early game as a whole is gonna play out. Say i put 3 points into E right away, but we end up losing botside minute 7-12' or sth, those points in lethality might mess you up because lethality as a whole is pretty meh if you're already losing. Early points in E mean you have to delay points into Q/W by a couple levels which can mess up your scaling by quite a bit in my experience where you might need Attackspeed from your passive but can't get it fast enough. I'm generally not a fan of early points into E levels 1-3 because of that, cuz the advantage you gain is kinda minimal compared to the potential setback. Not sure if I'm explaining this in a way that makes sense, but hope this helps somehow :>

I was waiting this video for a bit of hope, but we came to the same conclusion anyway. I personaly like to go with the other rune (cash back i think in english) I do 3 crit item + boots rank 1 and then i use the cash back monney to buy the zephire (its a legendary 3100 gold item, so 186 cash back) i also use triomph for 200 to 700 gold/game and if i need a spike for a fight i can use the cash back gold to buy a red pot and have a situational gatherim storm.

I build Hubris first item for Aphel rn, into standard crit build which is LDR IE Shieldbow BT. Hubris's stats and price is good early game and the bonus AD on take down scales pretty good late game too. LT damage scales off attack speed and Aphel doesn't build attack speed

Hubris has been a sleeper item fr. It can give you so much stats, especially in a active game.

I think Yun Tal seems like a bait item because of the conditions for it to proc. You need to have enough crit in order to make it work, but buying it later as third or fourth item feels terrible, as the dot is insignificant at that stage. I think an argument can be made for it as second item after IE. The dmg really isnt all that different against tankier comps with IE LDR. IE into YTW followed by either LDR/MR for penetration and then BT or Shieldbow in either order is a pretty strong build where you use most items at their respective optimal times

What about swiftness boots ? I've been testing it and finding it pretty good to be able to position aggressively while still having a lot of kiting options : playing champions like kalista,kaisa,ezreal, they dont struggle to pressure/reach out for ennemies and finish them and retreat if needed. I've found aphelios lacks that possibility since he's so heavy and slow : (not much attack speed, zeal items movespeed nerfed, clunky animations, no dashes no movespeed without red Q). Without swiftness, It feels like there is no way to position to get kills while also not getting rundown at by 400ms tanks/bruisers/supports, at least for me on that champ.

It’s not about the best off hand, it’s about the best combo of guns you have. Severum/Flamethrower is great for team fights as long as they don’t burst you. Chakram/Calibrum is great for shooting over walls/safetly alongside a great way to build chakras before committing fully to the fight Severum/Gravitum makes you impossible to chase unless the person has a gap close, and it also allows you to turn on them too. Also assassin jumps on you, you can Severum Ult - Q and then switch to gravitum and stun allowing you to get away or kill them. Calibrum/Gravitum is great whenever you are in a Pick comp because you can either safely lockdown someone or just straight pick them off and start stun chain yourself. Also be mindful of Triple combos too. At like around level 5 you can use up Gravitum then you can use most of your flamethrower ammo until you you have single digits left, then Q the minion wave and if you used Severum first (which is standard) you should then have it back, allows you to Q again, Gapclosing and also building up chakras before going for a trade/All in. If the enemy doesn’t die and just runs away you can then just push bot wave, ping the dragon or walk into the enemy jungle and place a ward/Take a buff for a guaranteed reward play and very very few bot lanes are able to deal with a 10 chakra Aphelios.

well all i can say that in this patch lethality phel is back for the reason of price and dmg. Let's do some math when u building IE first you're doing around 400 crit dmg but cuz of cost and early proccess of earning gold are not great..... i started to build yommu and collector for dmg also cuz of price and stats and i'm very okay with that cuz now with pta and not relying on early crits i' winning like 80% of all duels and teamfights (Master tier btw) mb i'm absolutely wrong and i'll be happy if someone share with their opinion but i would say that IE is bad but still is very important item

IK ur insane at this champ, but i have a lot of success using this build: Collector + IE + LDR. IK also that ur rly high elo so everything should be as close to optimal as possible, but at least i am able to win my emerald games with it. I was also surprised that statick is an option, def would try it

The problem with it is how painfully pricy this build is. You start with a 3400 gold item into a 3600 one. Although it does have the advantage of having dirk in the components; it doesn't level up. It lost the 2 lethality on upgrade and also lost AD for MORE PRICE. Holding onto this build requires good farm and a good lane; if you are put behind, you simply can't build and will take long to reache a spike; this kind of pressure and tempo is valued in higher elos the more you climb. With that said tho, all the ADC items are mid at best right now, so thats why lethality Aphelios is reviving. Aleksis had already covered the lethality start LAST SPLIT, and it now looks more promising that ever, lol.

@@HorusPrimarch - Not quite, because in some cases even with value put up; the gold efficiency doesn't go down that much. Collector increased 200 gold in price to lose AD and lethality; IE increased 200 gold to lose 10 AD. Youmuu's, for example, increased just 100 in gold for the active to be nerfed only to meeles; changed, but still good. The total outcome of the price of Collector and IE increased significantly and adds a whole 400 gold for you to have both items; as Daynean himself said, there are situations that IE first isn't going to be that good because if you are gatted from farming, you should go something else because if you try and bruteforce building IE you will have no item, no spike, be useless and won't be able to contest farm. "All items being nerfed" does not mean that all of them were nerfed equally. This is a big difference; which is why Aphelios is in a tight situation regarding itemization right now mainly on his first item, and he isn't the only one.
