St Maria Gorreti is a young saint known for her commitment to purity and the courageous defence of her faith, at the young age of eleven, made her willing to undergo death rather than participate in a sin against God- Catholic News Agency Her tragic death, shows her firm faith and true act of forgiveness, something that you will never expect from a very young child from a oppressed family. It is so easy to be a bad person in a bad situation, blaming the world for being a victim… but she chose to forgive. She was not afraid, took her faith and guarded her purity. Her mother was the first mother who watched her daughter being canonised. She made her proud, and convert many people around her including her oppressor.

Bumisita ako sa St. Goretti church noong July 2023 last bakasyon namin sa Manila pagdating ko doon sabi ng guard closed daw ang church dahil walang mass. Di ko nakita si Father Dave.😊
