My dad had a ‘73 Olympique and a Rupp Rally back in the day. I prefer riding the old ones like a bunch of goons to riding modern sleds myself. Keep the vintage sleds alive, boys!

Man some of the most fun sledding I had on my 62’ elan as a kid 👌🏻 had to carry a little bottle of gas to squirt in the carb when you wanted to start her, but could bang on it all day long like that lol

Can't beat an old full track snowmobile. I still miss my 1969 Olympic with a 290cc engine. Nothing could stop it, and I went over the handlebars more than once. 😁

I feel like the singles always ran for me, our old twins always gave us trouble. I had an d Polaris Gemini 250, the most reliable and slow sled I’ve ever owned, lots of fun though!

Where is this. I know we got a old school sledders association around here in the Kawartha Lakes area but that's all i know. They have a party and destroy newer sleds for the fanally. It's almost like you don't need a $14, 000 machine to have fun on the trails. Given that most of the chassis are aluminum for the mountain sleds, there's really no reason to own a new one... unless you just have to have the best and newest. Keeping up with the Joneses will get ya in the pocket book.

Its a mix of parts, had no exhaust forever, blew the motor mount at least once, huge hole in the tunnel back. I think its just a 72 olympic with a tnt hood, single 250 rotax. We call it the hammer mill

@@txryder79 My mistake its an olympic chassis with a 335. Wah you don't hear JLO very often, my first sled was a mototski too, F440 BSE. Would've been lost if it didnt come with a spare engine for parts

Dad bought a 72 , 292 TNT when I was a kid . Traded in a snot green 68 ,18 hp Eskimo. Drove them both like this most of the time . Eskimo was allot slower,but would turn on a dime. Some buddies didn't like following me , they said I was to crazy. Dad said if I broke it I paid for parts, And I did .Had blast.

We ride them hard but we also repair them. If we didn't fix up many of the machines in the videos, they'd be rotting into nothing in the bush
