This interview was amazing. I found myself tearing up when she was retelling how her Dad gave her stock certificates as a child to hang on her wall as a part owner of Disney and Walmart. Such a wise way to set up kid's future success and mindset. She also really has inspired me to attend the Berkshire Hathaway meeting in 2023 before it's too late to see Warren and Charlie in person together. Would be awesome to see Paul and Seth there--That would just be the cherry on top. 😘

Understanding impulse buying is hard to break. Knowing your weaknesses will help you in decision making. But when you fail learn from mistake. Value investing takes time. This is the safest way. But you also do option trading 😏. To be totally honest with people you should say this every video. Explaining how it's improved your portfolio and how dangerous it can be.

The type of people who would hire a value oriented money manager seems like a small market. Most people who understand money would likely just manage it themselves. It just doesn't take up that much time out of your week to stay on top of things. All those who have no idea about money, meanwhile, aren't invested, just contribute to their workplace 401k with no idea about where the money is going, or hire a broker whose job is to scam them. Don't get me wrong. Its a relief to know that value managers exist. I guess if you're a single parent working 60+ hours a week or are, on the flip side, somehow even more outrageously lazy than me? I suppose there could be those with the temperament of a value investor, but lacking any interest in learning about it? Maybe after we reach a sufficiently advanced age and our priorities shift almost entirely toward determining if we pooped ourselves?
