As a retired advisor I’d say this, if you have the knowledge, the time, the risk tolerance and the ability to do good DD (due diligence) than heck no, you don't, but if even 1 of those needs is an issue for you, get an advisor, any cost associated with an advisor is far less than 1-2 bad decisions if you’re wrong on a stock or fund

I think what you are missing with nvidia is that the companies buying chips pay to run their software once they get the chips, on top of this they are completely sold out on chips through 2026, the growth may be priced in but it is going to happen unless something crazy happens. It is still underpriced your software is not an exact science

I did some research. Palantir will be worth 900k if you put 100k in it. That valuation will be in 2045; Nvidia will be worth 1.6 million by 2045 if you put 100k into the company.

Haven’t watched in a while but seems to be an unbiased video for once. However, trying to do valuation on a momentum company doesn’t really work. Just need to look at past forward p/e and compare to get any idea. Both these companies trade at a huge premium. If you buy and hold be prepared for drawdowns. You will make money in the long run.

If I would've base my investments off valuation metrics I would've been loosing money every year for the past 13yrs buying dead companies and things that keep falling because valuation means absolutely nothing in this market. In the shorter day trade timeframe yes, pltr will hit above 27 today. U can make quick day trade. In longer term monthly to yearly very bearish.

Currently up over 200% on Palantir. I remember when you guys bashed me for it and said BABA was a better buy. How much are you up on Alibaba after all this time?

Out of all the hype and sheer emotional buying, Palantir and Okta are, in my humble opinion, very stable and prosperous stocks in the long run. I am not concerned about Palantir being tested this week because the 'boys club' wants it. A close second is ARM Holdings, but only if China and Taiwan remain peaceful. Even if Asia boils over, ARM is relatively secure since it does not require tangible goods and therefore will not feel the impact of supply chain shortages.
