Yess you should it's great! I'd reccomend starting with season 4 (the season that had Trixie, bob) just because the production was a bit lower in the first few seasons (a la drag race seasons 1, 2, 3) but season 4 is just amazing (the other three are great too but it's easier to get into starting with the later seasons imo)!

Honestly respect to these queens because the guest judges are icons just not on RPDR, but more importantly, outside of the show. And I think that it is important for more well known queens (especially because RPDR has such a larger audience than Dragula) to bring some attention to this show. I also love hearing the respect that the Ru queens have for the queens on Dragula, not just on the show, but also outside (Abhora winning one of Alaska's competitions, Bob being friends with biqtch, etc).

On top of Ru wanting to be the only drag queen judging, it's probably to prevent drama if someone gives a negative critique and the fandom these days would tear a new one into queens that gives their fav a bad critique. And I think that most queens wouldn't want that drama. The only time we ever really got a drag to judge was Alaska in the fall/spring runway in her Anna Wintour disguise. But that was different and more of a comedic choice rather than judging the girls.
