Awesome! For laser cutting you probably should build a box though and vent to the outside. Can I buy some kind of plastic film that blocks out the laser light wavelength? To stick on acryl glass to make a laser proof front?

Thank you! Yes, the laser jobs filled the whole shop with smoke. It was done that way mainly for filming purposes. I believe there are spectrally selective plastics that will guard against exposure. It would be the same material you see for the lids on other laser machines.

A thin sheet of plastic would be much easier to ship and probably much cheaper as well than a "specialty laser proof sheet". I mean these lasers have visible wavelength, so theoretically all you really need is find the right color, then test it with a spectrometer (or what it is called). Something orangey. But maybe a thin film isn't enough because it doesn't absorb enough light. Damnit your machine is too cool, I might have to pledge after all haha.

Dejay Rezme thank you so much! as lasers need UL approval they will not be available for the initial release. thank you for your ideas we still have a lot of research to do before they will become available.(safety and otherwise)
