Lol. It passed the "go to full screen mode" test in the first few moments. Always the sign of a top video. I read the comments before I watched it... I thought, am I going to need to sit back and light a cigarette afterwards? Almost. Great footage... thank God he skated in the digital age. You imagine what a travesty it would have been if he'd skated in the 70's? Most of it lost forever. That sad stoicism with that silver medal. Still just a baby, getting his heart broken.

Norah, I've become quite addicted to watching your gorgeous Plushy tribute video here since I found it last year. The Lana del Rey song is so epic for it, and the flow of images and programs throughout is so so...emotional for me. I think it's because this flow follows the flow of my own heart and blood watching Zhenya skate. Am I the only one who grooves on watching him just rehearse, as he's obviously doing for "Tango Amore" near the beginning? And that look of revelatory joy as he's coming out of the Biellmann spiral in "Carmen"! It just fills me with joy every time; no matter what kind of day I'm having. ❤❤ I'm familiar with all of the programs save one. Could you or anyone here tell me which is the program he's skating at around 1:30, I think, the one of him wearing the white silk shirt and bending on the ice with the candle? It's gorgeous and I would like to see the entire piece. Thank you for this video - it really touches me heart!
