There is an expectation of perfection- sums up his whole career, he had this colossal weight of expectation on his shoulders since he won world junior champs at 14 and he always delivered, he put his body on the line, doing things no one else dared and produced great art, incredible technical skills and even laughs along the way- a skater who could embody the grace and strength of Nijinsky and do 'sex bomb'? there will never be another, god bless you! makes me so happy to see him skate

個人的に男子シングルのショートで一番好きなプログラム。プルシェンコといえば4回転・超絶技巧ステップ・超高速スピンとか技術的に派手な面が特徴的に見えるけれども、他のプログラム含めて何度も何度も観たくなるプルシェンコの魅力ってなんだろう？と考えてみると、そもそもの選曲センス・曲に合わせた滑りのセンス・何度でも観たいと心が惹きつけられるエネルギッシュかつ繊細な表現力etc..である事に気づかされました。4回転抜きの"Tribute to nijinsky"が観れる2010年ジャパンオープンも、何度でも観たくなる演技だったし、結局4回転とか派手な技術だけでなく単純にフィギュアスケートの魅力が沢山詰まっているから、プルシェンコのトスカは最高！なのかなと勝手に思い込んでいます。

Для тех, кому программа НЕ понравилась. Музыка «повторяется», потому что это ария из «Тоски» от начала до конца. Вам, видимо, не понятна музыка, поэтому не понятен образ и хореография. Черный строгий лаконичный костюм с минимальным украшательством в данном случае также подходит к образу. Было бы, по меньшей мере, странно, если бы Каварадосси разоделся по-петушиному, как Ламбьель, костюм которого, кстати, много критиковался. То же можно сказать и про «Крестного отца». Да, оба, костюма черные, но они разные, так же как и программы и образы в них. Черный цвет идет далеко не каждому. Чтобы носить черное, нужны соответствующие внешние данные. У Плющенко они есть. Эмоций, конечно, Плющенко дал маловато (он сам это признавал), - нужен был «чистый» прокат, поэтому он был максимально собран. Эти программы можно увидеть в гораздо более эмоциональном исполнении на других соревнованиях и показательных.

Пересматриваю через 5 лет и на фоне сегодняшней хореографии в программах наших девочек, где КАЖДОЕ движение и и жесты в музыку, обе его ЭКСПРЕССИВНЫЕ дорожки под МЕДЛЕННУЮ музыку уже не впечатляют.. Каскад выполнил тяжело а вот аксель был великолепен
