Evgenia became one of my favorite dancers after I watched her perform the role of Cupid in Don Quixote at the Mariinsky. After I watched her perform Cupid, I had to find out her name so I could see more of her dancing. Genia is like a full package for a ballerina. Her movements are graceful, precise and controlled. She has mastered a combination of musicality, impeccable technique, and passion which shines on her face as she dances. She is truly remarkable.

My favorite Nutcracker Prince was always Tsiskaridze, so lyrical and graceful and when I saw Vlad I thought I am seeing Nikolai, the same grace and lyricism. Beatiful. What a wonderful dancer he is.

They're both great dancers and I enjoyed so much watching them. But the choreography of the corps is too old-fashioned. It would be great to get a whole new version of this old second act.
