This is one of the most dazzling finishes ever written for a solo instrument. It's absolutely breathtaking how the notes create a shimmering cacophony of unison. Chopin is out of this world.

Evgeny Kissin is undeniably one of the greatest concert pianists in the world. KZbin allows us to watch brilliant performances such as this one, and then sometimes make pathetic comments about his clothes, hair or facial expression, that he resembles a dead composer or that he walked out of a painting from the 1800"s. My favorite is "I played this piece...it was hard...I was 10" Does this mean you played it perfectly at 10, you are a musical genius, and you went on to become a world famous pianist? Or, you tried to play it, it was pretty hard to play, you forgot about it, and you gave up playing piano. Most importantly, did you like this performance? Do you like Chopin? My point is Evgeny Kissin is the real deal, playing sold out shows all over the world, and it is very easy to make critical or ridiculous comments from the anonymity of KZbin when relatively few people in the world can play at this level.

@@joeyclassifiedinfo7175 if the music has a note on it showing what speed the composer wanted it played at, isn't that the intended tempo? To be clear, people can have different preferences, but that just doesn't change what the composer intended
