Евгений Плющенко показывает не только высокий образец фигурного катания, но и столь же высокий образец культуры. Как я замечаю, не столь часто сочетающиеся качество среди фигуристов. Кроме этого справедливо отмечают артистические способности Евгения. Умение в своём танце, в фигурном катании, где не столь много можно, казалось бы, показать, по сравнению с традиционными танцами, отобразить характер и особенную, присущую только этому лирическому персонажу, красоту. I absolutely am wild for this man!!! After watching more and more of his links, I only love him more and more. I hate it when the lady said, "when you are 16, you can get away with that". Plushenko's greatness is the whole package, to me, especially because of his very own sense of humor. The genius is the genius! Brilliant. Bravo Plushenko.

Even at that young age he looked so comfortable on the ice. Always my favorite skater. You could see how much he loved skating. It really showed in his performances.

@sahajad Because the ISU wanted the N-Am to win. And the Russian Skating Fed. didn't defend him after the short program. The short program's scores were the most controversial thing in the whole story. It was so outrageous how after the short program the judges gave both of them the same score so Evan could have a chance at beating Plush. Plushenko's short program was so much superior to Lyca's. Lysacek won, Oly champ is Lysacek, but the world knows the truth, and loves and respects Evgeni.
