Oh. My. God. That thing is absolutely gorgeous!!! I have the Purple Metallic Wolfgang Special. It's unbelievable. I've been jonesing for one of these. Yep - the "Sangria" model with that maple neck. That's the one I want next. LOL I'm basically obsessed with the Wolfgangs. Standards and Specials. But that guitar... wow! Holy Cow!!! Great playing and riffage too, Juca. Great vid!

Nice guitar. Im a lefty so we only get black lol. I do love my Special, but after a year and a half of hard playing, the evh branded floyd has become a little flaky, so im swapping it out for a Gotoh 1996, and the tone pot is getting replaced with a kill switch. The neck on the Specials have the Wolfgang shape- non symmetrical. Its subtle, but it really makes it feel that much better. I wish I get that Sangria lol. Maybe one day they'll do something other then black for us Southpaws.

I had the same issue with Wolfgang and Bumble Bee going out of tune to the point I almost returned both of the. I discovered that the bridge posts are actually sloppy. You can wiggle them even though they are threaded in. I ended up talking them out and wrapping them with Teflon tape and it took the slop out. Now both guitars stay in tune! It's a cheap easy fix. EVH needs to address this issue. One more thing, I also installed a trem stop and the d-tune works much better as well.

This is the first video i've seen of the sangria burst and it is really beautiful. That being said i prefer my charcoal burst though, its not quite so in your face. You can get the D-tuna to work better than that you know, mine is pretty much in tune and is close enough for live. The other strings do go slightly out of tune but its only noticeable on the tuner

You can turn the screws and the pickups will move up and down. There are foam blocks with springs under the pickups.

These normally stay in tune no problem. The trem is a Korean licensed FR1000

This is why Eddie didn't set up the guitar with the bridge floating. The bridge was locked down. I have a trem stop on the block in the back cavity on mine.

Those strings are 8’s to 42? Or are you saying zero weight? I use the standard EVH 9’s but arthritis is setting in on my old hands.

These are 0,9 to 42 but I’m using 8’s to 42 on my other EVH guitars.

you dont have to shim the neck, you just shim the saddles and then lower the bridge!

It’s not really shimmed, it’s a piece of very thin wood that goes into the neck pocket to raise the neck. I think it’s harder to really shim the saddles.
