Here's a great place to take some data on the different quantities of energy stored in a blue "small" capacitor and a silver "big" capacitor. Obviously this raises far more questions than it answers. Good luck.
One bonus point goes to anyone who finds the pattern in the audio.

Imagine looking at a clock, reciting Shakespeare sonnets and just *not* pick the one that starts "When I do count the clock that tells the time"! You're calling that a diligent experiment?!

Excellent job respected Sir @Doc Schuster. We all students are always really thankful to you for your amazing Physics lectures. May you live a long, healthy, wealthy, respectful, joyful (and all positive energy fulls) life with your family and friends.

You were my very first physics teacher on the Internet nearly a decade and a half ago. Thanks Doc

Can you explain why you wait this long for the capacitor to charge? I don't see how 5T could possibly be longer than 2s with this setup. Am I missing something?

My students haven't built the concept of time constants yet, so I just wasted time for a while to make sure "stuff was finished happening." You might imagine that many students disconnect the bulb circuit as soon as the bulbs go out. Guess how messy their data is!!!!

That is not a capacitor! I have, maybe had, as I didn't see them when I tidied the shed capacitors as big as that rolls of paper behind behind the battery. They are dangerous when charged. I have, had four of them, wonder where they are? Oh that poetry is doing my head in!!!!!!

The old picture tube is a capacitor too, one you never what to discharge with your body.

Can I ask something. If I connect two capacitors, charged and other not, then obviously current will flow, voltage will be set to some value, but the energy wouldn't be conserved(I annsumed there's no resistance). My teacher said that energy is used for polarizing the dielectric inside the capacitor. But according to calculations energy would be lost even without the dielectric. Do you know where that energy go? Edit: The exact energy after the connection is equal to: E0 /(1+C2/C1) C1 - capacity of charged capacitor C2 - capacity of uncharged capacitor E0 - egergy of charged capacitor before connection

Entropy. No system is ideal so energy is lost no matter what.
