I’m from a Himalayan region and there were occasions where people would spot tall, human-like figures with hairy bodies in the mountains and colder regions. My friend went to his village during vacation, where the folks who lived there told him about the sightings of abominable snowman. His friend even spotted large footprints (bigger than human footprints) on his way to collect woods in the forest. There are lots of folktales about the abominable snowman (Yeti) in my country. I do believe they exist but no one has ever seen it in real.

Howtohunt here on KZbin. Its no fiction. They are just covered up. The cabal doesn't want you to realise you are part of the infinite and not separate. That's a simple way of explaining. Whether you like it or not and there is hard evidence, facts, to back it up.

@@christophhowland909 Bigfoot doesn't exist. The children of the guy who shared the first footprint simply said it's a joke that went too far. Yeti's don't exist because they seemingly have no past ancestors, no fossils, and no way to exist. The "evidence" looks like what a child can draw. Dragon's were stories that were told to kids as well so they must be real right? Yeti's are physically impossible. They are too slow to catch prey and there's no vegetation around. That's as far as the science needs to go. You want to geek out over a species that actually exists instead? Look up the Bili ape. A 6' tall, 400 lb chimpanzee species that are only found in the forrests of the Congo

Prehistoric sloths use to be as big as elephants and look at them now. By genetic logic I dont think it's that far out there some type of gargantuan primape that survived extinction and retained its size, indigenous tribes are still found in the Amazon one where they were rarely caught on camera because they were all about 4 ft and used cave systems sorta like gophers avoiding contact for centuries. My point to all this rambling is we all dont know and theres a bunch undiscovered

@snakevenom4954
@snakevenom4954 3 жыл бұрын
@@zackdelarosa14 The largest ever primape species is the Gigantopithicus. It was an herbivore. There are no herbivores in the cold. There also wasn't enough time for them to evolve into Yeti's. Note how Narwhal's are almost impossible to spot, but they find them. Note how giant squid are almost impossible to find, but they did. How come no Yeti's nor bigfoot's have been found? Also look at the foot print. Take note on how the second toe is almost just as big as the big toe. There isn't any reason for that. It provides no evolutionary advantage so thet trait would be lost. How would the Yeti's even eat however? They can't out run their prey and they aren't the best swimmers. Yeti's and bigfoot's don't exist because they are unable to exist. They are simply too big for a bipedal creature. They're too slow to catch prey so they have to turn herbivores and then they wouldn't attack humans and would be seen a lot more

Yeti's do exist as per my last trip to Lapchi in 2018 and interaction with locals at the Tibet - Nepal border himalayan place. They said they are 2 types and they come mostly in night, eat up foods stocks, intelligent one too and never get sighted easily. One of the strangest thing about yeti is that they are also so frightening like real ghost that people who have seen yeti closely never live long but rather dies in few days or within a week or month at most or bed ridden. It somehow takes away one's soul (in Tibetan we say 'laah') - local peoples in himalayan regions have seen them but those lucky people who saw it become unlucky and dies so soon that's why we have no real pictures of it yet only large 12 inches footprints in record on snow mountains and.hope someday we get a picture of it thru Hi-Tech cameras installment over those Himalayan mountains

The Original Yeti was not a picnic creature. The Stories from the 1800s and the modern day one from 1959 was that of a ' Terror of the Night' sort of being. Nowadays, Yeti is for children and he is just too peaceful. The Yeti [the real one] was hunting humans rather than Human looking for him. The last of the true account of what was a Yeti-just watch the 1959 true account of Yeti from Russia-Even the KGB were surprised-In the past Shaman and priests were blamed for calling a creature so terrible that it had to be from another world. Kids missing adult missing sort of real-life horror stories-not the modern day fictionist Yeti. The Yeti came at Night and when he came it was no picnic... Just watch the 1959 Yeti from Russian KGB account and you will know what it was rather than the fictions of modern-day stories. Yeti went extinct in the late 1800s in all Himalayan regions and in Russia Ural mountain as late as 1970s. Those were the true Yetis-and the Stories of the True accounts are so terrible that even the KGB did not know what to make of it. Not fictions of the modern day Yeti.

If you look at your footprints after you've walked through mud, snow , sand or any loose material ,you will notice a scuff where your heel will come in low on the material until it settles to make a solid print , you will also see that almost every step produces a little piece of the material as you foot comes forward to go on in your path, invariably tossing a small amount forward into your path. The print in this vid has neither of these characteristics leading me to believe the print is a hoax .

Thank you National Geographic for covering this topic. I know it's not often that you all do, but as one who has had two separate encounters with similar creatures, one in North Texas near the Red River and one in the Kiamichi Mountains of Oklahoma, the subject needs more good scientific investigation. I hope one day science as well as the help of local researchers like myself will be able to provide solid answers to what these creatures are if proven to exist.

I think the outline of that footprint looks a little too perfect. It looks like it was stamped from directly above, and the "foot" was removed in a completely upward motion, without any forward motion, toe action, bending at the ball or the arch, etc. There should also have been a whole line of these.

I want to believe but the evidence just ain’t there.

I am not claiming Yeti is real or not, but I'd call this one a hoax, the reason for that is because the footprint seems to be pressed downward "flat", what I meant by that is, try walking barefoot on fresh snow for at least a few steps forward, and then take a look at your own footprints, you will discover each footprint would have snow pushed backward slightly due to a forward-moving momentum. Unless this "creature" purposely took each step perpendicular onto the snow surface and then picked his or her or its foot perpendicular out of each step without tipping any snow from the edges, otherwise, there is no way for a footprint could be so perfectly leaving such a perfectly flat print without any snow pushed back slightly. But that' just my "theory" what do I know! lol...

I'll share a quick one. One of the teachers in the school i was working in told me this. So he has a cabin in the woods rhat he would go to with his kids to teach them the ways of their culture and tradition. Part of the training involved hunting. On their properry they had a small babbling brook passing through and they would go there to hunt the animals that came to drink water. One evening they stumbled upon footprints - he said he knew they were yeti prints. Because he had seen them before each foot was about 30 cms long and 10 cms wide. He described how it could be mistaken for gorilla/ape prints but there were none of those in the remote mountains in BC. He took pics and measured the prints. He also said they choose who they appear to. You could be walking by a tree and its not a tree its a shapeshifter. They can look like trees if they want to. 😊
