I was a junkie the day I bought Weatherman in 2007. I remember listening to it in the car, parked on the side of the street, while waiting for my heroin dealer to meet me. That album was one of the few things besides drugs I spent money on. I vividly remember listening to Chase The Clouds Away that day and feeling so depressed that my life was so far from the lyrics in that song. I feel so grateful to still have my life, and be clean/sober while enjoying new Ev music almost 15 years later. This song really made me reflect. Music’s powerful. Much love to everyone. ❤️❤️❤️

i remember i brought my Canon Rebel to Fullerton Slidebar early 00s. I ended up making it to the front and taking a few pics. After the concert a bunch of people rushed him to take pics figure i’d take my shot, security had other plans lol but Ev said nah it’s cool and waved me over and before we took the pic he called over ALC so i took a picture with Step Brothers !! and i remember saying thanks . He said no prob and asked you’re the dude that was up front the dslr right? i said yeah and he’s like what do you have it set at, i told him and he’s like alright man keep shootin’. To me that was just crazy dude is performing at a concert and acknowledges his fans lol Alchemist on the other hand was probably too fucking burnt hahaha all in all EV has been evolving and this new album is a prime example. It takes you back to Weathermen days without the nostalgic feeling because this guy is still killin it!
