For all those commenting about precision, these parts are made for very rough use and only the connecting parts which are, inlet and outlet need to be precise, which the workers corrected on lathe. The rest of parts which only need to interact with air flow/water flow can do very well with little precision. I would say it is very efficient use of resources.
@BenKDesigns2 жыл бұрын
Who the hell is commenting about precision? Dude's digging the casting out of the ground, not wearing any shoes, and they're pouring it from a pile of junk scrap they picked the parts out of in the back. I just want to know where I can buy one of these cars that's been refurbished with a dirt-cast turbo, alternator that's been re-wound with bits of cardboard and string in it, and a battery that's been poured in place...
@salvadorvizcarra7692 жыл бұрын
Very Efficient use of resources? Not! This Is a Tragedy. The working conditions of these HUMAN BEINGS are unacceptable by any international standard: No gloves; no work boots; non-flame retardant clothing; without glasses and nor protective mask 3M-9105; no helmet; without filter to avoid the aspiration of gases, dust, metals in suspension, burning fumes... All these workers will not make it to 40. Only the owner. Jeeezzz!!!

I'm impressed how these workers are doing the casting of the casing without modern equipments, unaware of the fact that there is so much mathematics and calculation behind this casing design. Moreover, I have visited modern foundries in China and I can imagine why many of the developing countries, that didn't moderanize their manufacturing industry, couldn't compete with China, and lost its manufacturing to China.
